Touch Screen Replacement Module for NDS Lite

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Too thin, not the same thickness as the OE NDS touch screen. Acts up from time to time, not as precise as the OE touch screen.

Other: Not an exact replacement. It 'works' but its not as good as the OE unit when it comes to accuracy and since its a little thinner it does not really fit as well as it should. So close...yet so far ;-)

Pros: The only one positive aspect is the price, Extrem cheap.

Cons: Too thin, just half of the original! Mine is brocken after removing from TFT. Just order a second replacement

Pros: The second touch screen fits very well , it is mechanical fully compliant with original one.

Cons: touch sreen reacts no so precise as the original one.

Other: Slightly higher presure is needed in comparision to the original, but it works!

Cons: its made with Glass not with Acrylic, which makes this too fragile compared with the genuine one.

Other: mine came with serious insensitive circles or so in the right-most side, and the glass ended up breaking while i was trying to figure out what was wrong with it, i ordered another ;P

Pros: Good replacement unit if you're feeling ready to tackle the big job of fixing yours. Mine arrived unblemished and working perfect even though it was only packed in bubble wrap + envelope (no box).

Cons: When I put a screen protector on top, as others have said, it requires slightly more pressure to register on the screen.

The original touch screen actually comes with a thick acrylic "sheet" on top. I didn't know this and managed to pry it off--it ripped the cable off too. This replacement does not come with the acrylic protector--it's just the glass part underneath.

The protector gives the original at least 0.5mm of height. After the DS was reassembled, I cut thin strips of a screen protector and placed them under the white plastic border (still sticky underneath) to boost it up evenly with the shell. The border is now removable. I think Nintendo used permanent double stick tape. I also put a DS screen protector (the one from this site) over the glass.

Other: Review all the materials you can get on installing this item. It's not an easy job, but if you feel you can do it, BUY THIS! Also remember to get a Y (tri-wing) driver available at DX if you don't have one already. I got a good screen, so they are out there.

The price has dropped over a dollar since I bought it. Even so, it is a good deal.

Pros: The price is an obvious one, compared with prices elsewhere it's brilliant. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Cons: It is made of glass rather than the polycarbonate/perspex/plastic the old original one was made from, this obviously makes it fairly fragile so care should be taken when using/installing it.

There is no adhesive tape supplied with it so you must ensure you take care when removing the old screen so you can re-use the old tape.

Other: Good, cheap replacement - take care when installing though!

Cons: as stated here before is made from glass and not plastic like the original but this is not a show stopper.

there no instruction on how to install it remember rookies ask a friend with experience to install it.

Pros: This screen is a spot on replacement,fitted it and it works,before my ds lite would not calibrate,after fitting this screen it was good as new.

Cons: This is not for the faint hearted it is difficult to fit and there are,t any instructions but if you do a search on the net there are plenty of videos out there.

Other: I t works perfect so for the price you will not get better.it is fiddly to fit so unless you have paitence and a bit of time on your hands get someone else to fit it for you.
