Toyota 2-Button Remote Key Casing

Pros: It's an excellent replacement for all broken key casing. It a common thing that breaks on the Camry 2003-2007 and RunX, Corollas etc. Here in my country Toyota wants around $8 just for the back cover without the blade or front cover.

Cons: Maybe they should've taught of giving a button rubber pad so that your whole key looks new again. Because now everything would be new except that your buttons are old. Sometimes the buttons even wear out or tear.

Other: Buy 1 or 2 extra and keep them. I mean for the price your getting a complete key including a blade which just needs cutting to your cars pattern.

Pros: This is actully really hard to get here in Sweden, nobody sells them, not even Toyota themselvs :-s
The price is great, I mean there is no way you would get it cheaper in Sweden anyway.
It feels robust and it feels like the original key housing. Maybe even a little better.

Cons: The only con that I can think of is that you have to copy your old key. I did not understand that when I ordered the key, I thought I just could replace the key itself, and put my old key in the new housing, this is not the case, you have to copy your old key onto this new one. (Not expensive at all so it's not really even a con)

Other: Does it's job as the original, if not better

Pros: Fits 2003 corolla key fob One of my keys broke and I went to Toyota to get it replaced. Turns out that Toyota wants about $600 to replace the key and keyless remote, $400 to just replace the key, and $190 for this piece of metal and plastic. Fantastic that DX can sell this... it has saved me a lot of money

Cons: None really..

Other: Don't just get one if you buy this; get a couple and get them all cut so its cheaper to get it cut together.

Pros: * Very nice cut * The actual metallic part is of good quality * Extremely useful if you break your old key

Cons: * The Toyota logo does look a bit dodgy, but who cares * Need to cut the key to your old one at a key cutter (a small fee obviously will apply)

Other: Worth every penny! My wife is happy and she does not need to carry one key in 3 broken ugly parts any more!

Pros: Ya i wondered . would this item be what i was looking for . It was. i cant see any difference betveen the original and this one. I saved a lot of mony buying this one instead of buying a original key.

Cons: if the key itself could be changed over to the new one it would be a perfect product. The keysection is solid and cant be shanged over

Other: I was supprised by the quality of this item . This is a good buy , and vil save you for a lot of trouble ... for a very nice price.

Pros: The casing has very nice build quality, very good fit. 46 mm blade, just as on original. Plastic is a little different from original, and I like this one better. Very good fit for the electronics.

Cons: I need to get it cut now.

Other: Well worth waiting for even if it took more than a month to get it.

Pros: Key perfect quality - price! The best I got! Similar to the original keys of great quality and looks! Fits for the Toyotas of controls 2 buttons, you only need to back up the key and go! Key new as when you bought the car!

Cons: The truth is, none! It's perfect! The case their material is a little less quality, but sufficient and more than acceptable price!

Other: I broke the key to my Land Cruiser and Toyota asked me a lot of money! I am very happy with the purchase!

- Looks better in my opinion than the original Toyota keys
- Fits nicely in combination with genuine Toyota key parts
- Well made

Cons: - There is a slight (really tiny) mismatch between the genuine and this one.

Other: This was a great find. Saved me hundreds of dollars. I bought two, just in case, but I'll probably never need the second one. Still cheap, even so.

Pros: Similar to original key. Very good quality. Comes well packaged. Brand new item. I have bought 3 key fobs. It is cheaper to buy items and use bulk discount.

Pros: We had to replace a broken key from a Toyota Corolla and this was perfect It was just a matter of switching the internals and having the key cut to fit which was quite simple to do while the cutting only cost $5 saving a considerable amount of money compared with what the local Toyota people would have charged I was struggling to fit the internals into the body when I realised I was putting them back into the broken original incorrectly, they did fit perfectly into the new key which was well built and looks as if will easily outlast the original

Cons: None, the replacement is well made and looks very good
