What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: *- It's a geniune Transcend 400X 32Gb CF card
- Reads @ 90Mb/s and writes @ 60Mb/s
- Much cheaper than what I can get locally, which is like $15 to $20 more
Cons: - none
Other: If you need a higher capacity CF card which writes @ 60Mb/s and reads @ 90Mb/s, look no further. 32Gb should suffice most photography buffs out there. If you're into sports or birding, you might want to opt for the faster 600x version (sku.71884), but it's about double the price. The 64Gb 400x (sku.50400) is also descently priced, if you need a much higher capacity.

Pros: -A genuine Transcend 400X 32Gb CF card -Good speed. Reads @ 90Mb/s and writes @ 60Mb/s -Good box packaging. -Much cheaper than what I can get locally. -ATA interface with UDMA Support. -It also features built-in ECC (Error Correction Code) -Multi-platform compatibility -MLC NAND Flash chips
Cons: None yet
Other: I bought this card to replace an ATA ZIF disk on Sony Vaio P VGN with linux distro. Attached to CF/ZIF Convertor ( like SKU: 11814) it works very well ! and save power consumption too.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I photograph big events, and can shoot 17,000 frames in a week-end when photographing dance, aerobics and other continuous action scenes. I shoot on 3 x 5D Mark 2s and with the larger file sizes, you whip through smaller cards How far have we come since the 125 megabyte cards!!!
Cons: The only worry is the loss of information by accident. This is an unlikely scenario, but still a possability.
Other: A very useful card that I put into my heaviest shooting camera first up.
