Trekking and Nordic Walking Pole with 9-LED Flashlight (Black)

Pros: For a sturdy walking stick alone, I have paid so much more. I have NEARLY ordered the same stick for nearly FOUR times as much WITHOUT shipping. I need a stick to walk with, and to have a built in light, man o' man, and adjustable height to boot. I may just buy a bunch, and sell em at a mark up

Cons: Hey, a built in searchlight would be nice, so I could see farther.... But seriously I wsould not want to put my FULL weight on this stick, but that's really being picky

Other: For anyone needing a "assist", this cannot be beat. If you have a "Gran" Mother, Father, Auntie, Uncle, who could use one of these, can YOU think of a better gift at THIS price?? They don't need to know that you got such a great deal, do they??

Pros: useful indeed for any cripple or someone limping around.

Cons: took a while to figure the adjustment of length.

Other: can be useful indeed when need be.

Pros: Cheap and sturdy. I compare it with similar (in the non-pro segment) from sports stores and find no quality difference. Antishock, four sections, good foam grip below the T grip. The ligth is a plus for nearly no more money than the other pole without it.

Cons: The light seems worse quality than the pole itself. I has no on-off button, you just have to screw in stronger to switch it on.
Uses button cells instead of the more common AA or AAA batteries.
No way to turn off the anti-shock system.

Other: I recommend to buy it, but think if you really want that light or prefer a pole you can mistreat carelessly.

Pros: Cheap and sturdy and comes with an antishock system that eases the paonding on long treks
Has 4 sections to sensure easy packing and adjuastable height.
Very light-weight
Good foam grip
The light is a plus for a few dollars extra but see below for more about this.

Cons: The light came DOA with scratches on the plastic lens.
Reflector was peeling
Tried my best but couldn't get the light working and gave up I'm not going to ask for a replacement as travelling to and from the local PO is a hassle, not to mention the cost.
Anti-shock system cannot be locked.

Other: Great pole, especially if the light works but for the price I pay I guess this is acceptable. Don't be turned off though, buy one and if you receive a defect get RMA from DX as I've had positive experiences asking them for replacements.

Pros: Fully adjustable height. Shock gives the cane user enough "bounce" to reduce the impact on the leg on the side of the body you are using the cane. GREAT as a cane, sporty look.

Cons: Batteries were dead/corroded on arrival. You will need Cell Battery AG13 LR44 (50-Pack) or similar to get the light to work. 1 of 9 LEDs dead on arrival. Light is still bright an functional. You need to spend time learning to adjust it propery so the shock does not rattle, etc.

Other: A great, good-looking cane with a very functional and handy flashlight built in. Great price.

Pros: No pros, except for the light implemented on the stick.

Cons: I've used this twice in my outfield experience hiking in the jungles. This practically cannot support the weight of a human well. It slides off even after tightening it. I had it thrown away.

Other: Bottom line? Reliable stuffs don't usually come cheap, cheap things are not necessarily good. good things are not necessarily cheap.
