Pros: This flashlight is BRIGHT!!!!
The build quality is by far the greatest yet to have noticed.
It starts on max power, and it has no memory, which means you get back to Max power if it has been turned of for more than a few seconds. - Brilliant!
The Strobefunction is very fast, in addition to the CRAZY bright light, this makes the flashlight a perfekt selfdefence tool.
This actually hurts your eyes to look at, in the litterally sence.
It gets a bit warm, but not hot at all. You could warm your hands on it, but it will not be unpleasent to handle.
Cons: NOT a thrower, my 3 x CR123 cell SuperFire inchandecent flashlight trows more than twice the length of this one.
A bit to many modes, I do not know why someone would buy a P7 to be using it on medium og minimum power. Still the SOS function bothers me, noone uses this anymore, everyone has got a cellualr phone these days.
I will be dissapointed in every other flashlight I'll buy in the future!
Other: Apart from the mid, min and SOS-mode and the lack of throw, this is buy far the greatest flashlight I've ever owned.
The next flashlight I would get would be a Thrower with the same amount of insanely bright light.

Pros: Incredibly bright!
Feels great in the hand.
Very nice build quality, very sturdy.
Very good battery life for this amount of output.
I don't know what people are saying about bad throw, cause i can see the beam on the apartments about 1000yds from where I shined it. That sounds pretty good to me. At night you can clearly see the beam in the air. It gets warm quick, so it must have good heatsinking.
Cons: I wish there was a better way to switch modes. You click the light to turn it off, and half depress it to change modes. This seems like a good idea, but in use when I turn it off it tends to cycle to the next mode, so when I turn it back on it's on the wrong mode. Not that big of a deal, just a thought.
Other: This light is crazy bright, it has great battery life, feels really nice in the hand. I love it, and you will too. Buy one.

Pros: I was concerned about this travelling well to the UK. However, It arrived very well packaged in jiffy bag and paper wrap. On unpacking the torch was found in perfect unmarked condition. Fitted new trustfire battery and it worked straightaway. The torch is beautifully finished in what I assume is black anodized aluminium. It is fairly heavy and appears very solid in construction and materials. There were no signs of cheap workmanship or finishing, all the threads and seals were correct and well aligned. Battery fitted perfectly without slop and shake. In use I found good positive controls in the clicky switch an dan intelligent memory effect that kept the last used setting when switched on again. The light output is fantastic, for this size of torch and has an excellent balance of spot throw and flood spill. It gets warm after 10 mins, but nothing uncomfortable.
Cons: So far very little. If I had to say something it would be a generic complaint about the clicky switch on the tailcap. These are really not user friendly, unless you hold the torch 'like a dagger' and the thumb rests over the tailcap. If you hold the torch 'like a stick', you need the other hand to reach the switch. Another small gripe is the weight balance, that is slightly too heavy at the front end. Probably the finned heat sink.
Other: You can't get a better torch for this price. It has 2 small issues with the switch and balance, but these are so minor compared with the brilliant light it delivers, good build quality and sheer fun of useing it.

Pros: 1: Great build 2: great out put 3: can use 18650 and cr123 batteries 4: not heavy, long or bulky
Cons: not a one
Other: i own 4 olight T20's 4 Fenix P3d Q5's a Romisen RC-T5 and that one also is a good combat light a beter thrower than this one but not as bright or as wide a swath of light. This one does the job period.

Pros: Nice build quality...threads and anodizing are smooth, o-rings present where needed, clicky was responsive, and threads were lubed.
Bright...not 900 lumens bright but definitely brighter than my R2 or Q5 lights for sure.
Like all SSC's, smooth transition from spot to spill..both are huge.
Fits protected Trustfires with no issues.
Has memory!
Cons: Contact issues....light will sometimes not turn on, even with a good cleaning.
No real battery rattle but light will change modes when flashlight is moved around...contact issues.
Not much difference between hi, mid, low settings.
Annoying and noticeable flicker on mid and low modes.
Top heavy...the head on this thing is huge!
Other: Bright but it really didn't shock me like I was expecting. I was hoping to be stunned by the light but no such luck...it's just nice to have in the collection.
There are way cheaper SSC P7 lights here on DX...this one was pricy. I only got it because I liked the fact that it started on High mode, which is a necessity for my application.

Pros: very bright.
the build quality is very nice,
I like the smooth threading,
the glass lens, and the massive body.
the light spread is very nice, the color temp is pure white.
the reflector is thick aluminum,impressive.
Cons: mmmm.....not much,
just the missing batt and charger.
also a hard case could be useful.
packing wasn't good enough
Other: I'm happy.
if you want good quality, good price, and bright light-buy it.

Pros: This is a great looking torch and does not disappoint when used. It feels reassuringly heavy in the hand but is nicely balanced. It is very bright, spills well and does not get too hot when used for long periods of time.
Cons: None really - I can't find a proper fitting holster but thats about it!
Other: A fantastic looking, very bright and useable torch. If you haven't got one then stop reading this and buy one immediately!

Pros: This beast obliterates my Fenix and People's Cree 150 Lumen torches. I'll never again splash out for 4 'D'cells for my big Mag light, because this single 18650 torch would easily blow it out of the water.
Cons: I've only had it one day, so the 'WOW'factor hasn't subsided yet. I'ran it with the half-charged 18650's supplied and it blew my mind. Cons.....hmmmmm...there's no lanyard, a forward mounted switch would be better.
Other: Buy it. This is a very powerful torch, for a bloody good price. Should hold a rabbit or fox in the beam, or burn the retinas out of any would-be burglar.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Excellent build quality, all the parts are tightly fitted.
- Low weight and short - it uses only one 18650 battery.
- Copper base under the diod emitter, emitter itself is on termoclue.
- Good lightspot.
- Handy button on the back, surrounded with metal - you cannot press it accidently.
- Double-spring inside holds the battery perfectly - it cannot loose contact.
- Works almost 4 hours in low mode - it's enought to me.
- Vary transparent, clear glass.
Cons: - Heats at max mode.
- At 1 meter distance you can see the lightspot contains of 4 spots, but I thing it is emmitter's feature.
- Too good torch to be true :-)
Other: I've bought it with 2 packs of batteries http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.19624 and http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5837 charger.
I've got 200% satisfaction with it - everything works perfectly.

Other: Veel licht, klein lampje, erg sterke behuizing, netjes afgewerkt. Koop een reserve baterij en neem een zo zwaar mogelijke baterij :D hij vreet ze. Zeer mooie lamp, helemaal voor dit geld, maar reken op de helft van het opgegeven vermogen.
