UG802 Android 4.1 Cortex A9 Mini PC w/ Wi-Fi / Dual Core / 1GB RAM / 4GB ROM - Black (EU Plug)

Pros: Tiny, quick, very easy to use. Plays video at high quality with very watchable frame rate. Many games work well. Better than my smart tv.

Cons: Most web sites think this is a phone so mouse control can be odd. Many adroid games are aimed at touch screen so dont work well. This is not a fault of this unit but worth noting.

Other: I have just bought another for my bedroom HD TV. Good gadget for the price.

Pros: Build quality is very good. Value for money excellent. Google Play works. All apps that I have tested so far have performed well. Performance is very good. It is what you would expect from fast dual core android. Totally silent. Installation went without issues. Really small. I think it can replace desktop for many applications.

Cons: User interfaces of some Google Play apps don't work without touch screen. Full HD support at 60Hz at least on my Philips TV loses signal. This is irritating. Probably supplied usb ac adapter does not deliver enough power to the device. Lower resolutions work without issues.

Other: UG802 is very good for smart tv use and it delivers very good performance. Full HD at 60Hz is not what I would like it to be but as lower resolutions work well. It is not an issue to me but it is not ideal solution for those looking for very good full hd media solution. I think that the fact that is if fanless is really nice as it makes absolutely no noise at all.

Pros: + you get a full Android-PC under 75$ + access to Play-Store + most of the Apps work properly + Android 4.0 + Powerfull Dual-Core and Mali-GPU

Cons: - Wifi disconnects sometimes, device must be restarted - no 'on/off' button - audio out of sync in youtube and some videos (200-500 ms)

Other: Nice Mini-PC for a good price!

Pros: The build quality is not bad. Feels nice and handy. Very good hardware specification and it performs really well. Great gadget for android fans. Very suitable as a portable/mobile PC (can be connected anywhere using HDMI and can use any USB poiting device/keyboard). Can be used to make a TV "smarter". Can be used as a "micro" desktop PC replacement for basic stuff. Works well with many USB external devices (with an active USB hub). Good price for the hardware.

Cons: The stock ROM is practically useless and has a lot of bugs. The Android framework has been designed for Chinese mobile operator only, so you cannot download 90% of applications from PlayStore outside China (even using WiFi only). It needs some efforts to customize it and make it a great and useful gadget, so you should be an "Android aware" user to get all the fun with this mini PC. It seems not to work well with 32GB micro SDHC Class10 card - I had to use 16GB to avoid problems.

Other: All in all it's a very nice gadget, but requires some efforts to make it really useful.

Pros: Works great with Google Play. Works with SVT Play, TV4 Play and Youtube wich was my main objective with this device. It´s super for playing Angry Birds and other games. My kids love it. Works with a cheap wireless keyboard

Cons: Wi-fi is not working good unless you are near the router, Works OK up til 6-7 meters. You can´t remove some of the chinese apps on the startscreen. Maby if you root it?

Other: as long as you have a good wi-fi-connection its a useful device. Otherwise it´s perfect for playing games. I´ll recomend it and I will by another

Pros: very happy with this product is a little computer and I can hide it behind the TV if it is on the wall. is completely in place for the computer I was using connected to the TV and does everything very well I use this for netflix and browsing the internet. It also has a better cooling design that prevents over heating even when running over long periods of time

Cons: no on or off button and can not restore it. There are chinise icons on the desktop that I would liked to be able to be replace. Manual is fairly small and little information

Other: very good addition to my collection of devices going to use this much.

Pros: The sense of rubber, it's size and building quality are great. When it works It's really powerfull. It recives power via a micro usb so It's much better than own built power adapters. Doesn't heat much.

Cons: Poor wireless signal, some times Wifi gets off and not available to turn it on again unless reboot. Only one USB, you can use a hub but It would be much better 2 usb. Main menu isn't as confortable as other android tv ones, but I supose It can be modified.

Other: I've tested other ones, this one is better build, more powerfull , heats less, the usb in power it's much better than own built power adapters. The wifi crash, I'm not sure if it's my device or a general failure, i supose I can stand it for the price.

Pros: Simple to get an "old" tv "smart" HDMI cable good addition as bulky connection with straight connector on unit.

Cons: Short power cable. If no USB on TV the power or hdmi cable needs extension.

Other: You need a keyboard and mouse to this unit to make it complete. Add a simple usb wireless keyboard and you get a good smart tv from an older lcd tv.

Pros: A great gadget with a small price. Make all TV's smarter. I use it for media player and tv streaming, it works just fine. My google account and facebook are always syncronized. I read all newspaper at the confort of my coach. Lots of apps to choose in the market. My kids loves to play angry birds and fruit ninja and it works just fine. Live wallpapers. Great stuff!!!

Cons: Just one usb port, but a power hub solves it.

Other: All TVS should have one connected. Better than all apps I've seen in Smarts Tvs, because most of the androids apps are compatible. . Just use your imagination. It plays MKV's just fine. A great machine!!!

Pros: Its nice compact, and the hardware is wery fast. You can really see that the dual core works fast. It plays HD movies with no problem, and the apps run fast too.

Cons: The wifi is extremely poor. The max speed I can get is 100k, with my 52M wifi router. Other devices work fast with my wifi but not this! It also disconnects sometime. The router has to be close to the device, otherwise signal strength is poor.

Other: Only buy mini PC with confirmed good wifi card!
