Ultra Bright 6-LED 4-Mode White Light Convex Lens Headlamp (3*AA)

Pros: -Good build quality -Use AA batteries (3), last longer than AAA's -Battery pack is behind the head, this distribute the weight of the headlamp. If you run with it, it won't constantly tend to fall in front of you. -Really narrow beam in all mode. You don't see alot around you but you do see far ahead of you! -4 Modes: 2 Leds, 3 leds, 5 leds and only the center one. Most of the time you'll only need the center one but all 5 leds ON give a big punch. -You can aim the light down to your feets if you do not want to disturb other people around you.

Cons: -Because the battery pack is behind your head, there is a wire that run on the left headband. It could break but it looks solid. -The "Gatling" piece looks a little easy to break if not handled with care.

Other: Buy it, everyone I showed this headlight want one now!

Pros: Good build quality in the casing.

Cons: There is not enough light from the simple LEDs. Even when using all five LEDs there is not enough light.

Other: This light is not as bright as it appears. There are lights that are much brighter and cost less than this light, and those other headlights are also available on this DealExtreme website. The Gatling feature seems to be a gimmick for those who like it. I did not find it useful. The color tone is slightly blue and purple, but not really noticeable. This is a spot light that increases brightness with each LED that you turn on. But at maximum brightness with all five LEDs it is still not useful and still not bright. There is little spill, and what spill there are is very dim. Price is okay, but I found much better headlamps on DealExtreme that are lower priced and give more useful light.

Pros: I bought this "Ultra Bright 6-LED 4-Mode White Light Convex Lens Headlamp (3*AA)", because i wanted better night light. So i got it and it is good. The strongest i have ;-)

Other: The manifacturer of this product must be more cautious in the workmanship. The leather strap looses away so easily. When you turn the lights, sometimes it not lights. Sometimes lights ;-)
