Ultra Bright 67-LED 4-Mode Headlamp

Pros: Very Very Bright! Has £ brightness levels plus flashing mode and SOS Mode. Strap seems to be quite good quality. Again this is great if you work on building sites or something and can strap round yrou hard hat :D Uses AA Batteries

Pros: Very comfortable when on you,re head a lot lighter than i thought it woul,d be,on full 67 led mode this is super bright with a nice throw.

Cons: Batteries can be a bit fiddly to fit at first,but when you get used to the battery clips its not a problem.

Other: Probably the best headlight i own.

Pros: Very bright compared to other 53, 50, etc led headlamps. Comfortable Solid headband Doesn't move around a lot

(AA batteries weren't making contact with the metal on the + side)

Other: Excellent headlamps even though they need a little modification when they arrive in the mail. They are far brighter than the other 50 or 53 led headlamps on the site.
I recommend them.

Pros: Affordable, lightweight (if you think 3 AA batteries are light....) and shines soooo bright! Will freak out anyone looking straight at you! Worth putting on all 67 LEDs just for the effect on others, ahah!

Cons: Not much difference between the full-on (67 leds) mode and the previous mode (40-ish leds) because there is not enough space left around for the extra LEDs to shine - the black plastic border is in the way of 1/2 the size from the outer LEDs so it restricts light being emitted. That could have been better built and seems to be the problem with cheaper headlights: the outer border doesn't have enough space for the emitted light to shine out of the casing, and just hits the outer ring.....

Other: You probably won't use the full 67 LEDs as the light of the outer ring of LEDs is being blocked by the black ring surrounding the lamp. But that would probably be the case for the outer ring of all lamps which have not been properly "engineered"!

Other: Choose on your budget! But don't expect that a 67-LED lamp will outshine a more expensive one. It will depend on the lux-rating of the individual LED used in the lamp.

Pros: good throw bright takes AA comfortable

not waterproof but not expensive either

Other: you wont get a beter light for the money

Pros: + Cheap and good quality

Cons: You have to modify the metal contacts for the batteries, otherwise the batteries will not make contact, just cut small pieces of the same packing and force them into and beetween the plastic and the metal contact with the bateries.

Pros: great light for the money. bright enough on the low setting for most tasks, battery life is excellent adjustable cheap

Cons: the strap which goes over the top of your head is not long enough ,especially if like mine it needs to go on a "hard hat" but apart from that no other probs

Other: I work nights on the motorway so a good bright light is essential and this light is excellent for me,I have tried lots of different headlamps including some very expensive petzl models and this is the best by far.bright light just where i need it and up to now it has been used for about 6 hours every night for the last 2 weeks and still on the same set of batteries

Pros: Brightness is excellent, three levels important for such a bright light. Even the lowest level, 7 LEDs, gives a very useful light. Use lithium AA to get longest life, SKU 7260, or rechargables with a charger that will let you charge 3 at a time, not just 2 or 4.

Cons: All 3 I ordered required the contact mod, but done in 5 minutes.

Folded paper inserted behind 3 positive battery contacts required or you will think it is DOA. Well, it is, but easily fixed.

A bit large, but the older type of LED runs cool which means efficient, longer battery life.

Other: Very good value.

Pros: Good light for two hand work or night walks. Even the 7 led mode allow reading, further modes (43 and 67) are really useful for precision work. Standard AA batteries are cheap and much higher capacities available than AAA. Works with rechargeables too. head strips looks and feels quality.

Cons: Tilt mechanism does not looks too strong.

Other: As others mentioned not too much difference between 43 and 67 leds due to the reflector design (inner circle is almost becomes too bright with the full set). If you are a LED fan buy this for your collection :)
