- Comes with protective plastic film to protect the body

Other: You can't go wrong with this one. Highly recommended.

Pros: Seriously, this charger looks SO genuine! It charges my iPod touch, and is super small. Great for charging anything that requires a USB port. Very compact! Great for travelling.

Cons: Nothing really, just that there's no green dot, meaning that it's not the redisigned version. It still works well though. It came in just a plastic bag, with no box.

Other: Just buy it, it's cheaper than the other older version too, and looks better. Plus, it's super mini! Very compact.

Pros: This Ultra-compact USB Power Adapter has extremely good build build quality, and is very well-designed. It charges my iPhone 3G with no problems and I didn't notice any serious defects in the manufacturing or design.

Cons: The item that I received did not have a green dot or modified prongs, but seems to work just fine.

Other: If you are looking for a replacement USB charger for your iPhone 3G, this item will do the job and looks good too!

Pros: I am pretty sure that this might be the real deal. The markings on the face actually say "Designed by Apple in California." I need to bring this one home and compare it to the one that came with my 3G iPhone, because its really close.
I'm not sure what else to say, you plug it into the wall, and plug your apple USB cable into it, and it magically charges your phone.

Cons: None that I can tell so far. My iPhone 3G hasn't started smoking and sparking yet.

Other: For the price, I should have bought several more to keep in various places.

Pros: This is (as far as I can tell) identical to the first generation of plugs sold by apple. It would not surprise me if they were stock left over in the factories when the recall started. If this is true than it is an actual apple product 1/6th the original price

Cons: if it is true it also means that the prongs may break off if it is not treated very carefully (reason for the recall)

Other: the problem was rather limited, so you should be OK if it is overstock and if it is not than it is the best imitation I have ever seen.

Pros: Virtually identical to the original iPhone 3G charger that I got. Works like a charm. Naturally, it charges any iPhone or iPod perfectly (not every USB charger I have can do that).
Since it supplies 1000mA of current, it charges equipment faster then most other USB chargers (not just Apple equipment, just about anything) which are mostly rated at around 500mA.
It's the smallest USB charger I've ever seen, and the price is just awesome. Perfect for carrying around trips.

Cons: Didn't come with the green dot. Neither did my original charger, for that matter. I never had a problem with the quality of the plugs, anyway, so I doubt this is a serious issue.
Came in an OEM packaging, i.e., none whatsoever (just a small plastic bag). Not a con, really, because whatever package it would have arrived in would have ended in the trash, thus saving a bit of space in my local landfill as well as eliminating a tiny bit of carbon footprint of shipping it across half the world (adding to the price).

Other: If you need a USB charger, there is no nicer or better choice that DX carries today.
And it's a great spare iPhone 3G chargers if you tend to lose things easily...

Pros: Charge fast and securely your IPHONE 2G or 3G, I've tested on both.

Cons: Really small, easy to miss or forget, only flat AC power ( american ) connectors that my not work without adapters in all coutries.

Other: have an Iphone, Ipod or any other USB device that needs to be juiced everywhere ? Catch a few of these high quality and drop in the car, bag, house etc and never be out of battery again.

Pros: Works perfectly with the 3G, feels the same as OEM. THIS IS YET ANOTHER CHANCE to NOT BUY yet another retarded black turtle neck for Steve Jobs.

Cons: None. Well, Other than being forced to write 500 characters which can sometimes be a bit tedious when you have already said all you have to say about the product.... Maybe they should just add a field called psychobabble for us to type our random thoughts in.

Other: Get a few. Along with the usb chords.

Pros: - Cheap.
- Indistinguishable (to me) from the OEM charger.
- Works great, no stupid error message about using unofficial equipment.

Cons: - None.

Other: Perfect, can't tell it from the OEM version. Will buy another!

Pros: - It's Nice and Small
- Good Build Quality, if it's not the same Build as Originals it really does a good job at copying it.
- It works with all my different USB peripherals.. BBerry, Ipod Classic, NDS and everything I tested.
- It is a quick charger for Peripherals that will take advantage of the 1000mA.

Cons: - None from my point of view.

Other: Is it really the same as the original Apple ones costing 10 times the price.. I dunno. Who care..
