Ultra-Mini 2.4GHz Wireless Surveillance Audio/Video Camera w/ 4-CH Receiver - Black (1-Camera Set)

Pros: 1. quality of both camera and receiver is good, doesn't feel and look cheap;
2. reception distance is as described, good enough;
3. reception quality is good, gets through walls (receiver is in the ground floor, camera is in the 2nd floor);
4. good value for the price, you don't feel shortchanged;
5. thus far, i've been using the receiver and camera for 10-12 hrs. a day and the adaptors and receiver don't seem to get hot (a little bit warm at most);
6. video is colored, turns into black & white by sunset, and very effective during daytime or in well-lit areas.

Cons: 1. it's an unsecured 2.4ghz frequency;
2. no expection of privacy as anyone with enough knowhow can snoop into the 2.4ghz frequency and see what you're seeing;
3. the adaptors aren't for north america (make sure to request the right one);
4. 2.4ghz is so common and will always encounter interference with other 2.4ghz appliances such as cordless phones, microwave, wifi routers etc.
5. interference from other appliances especially wifi router (receiver is close to the wifi) can't be avoided but it's not that bad, video is still very watchable.
6. not a night-vision camera.

Other: this is a good product and has various uses. bear in mind that this product has an unsecured frequency. you can use this as a baby monitor, nanny-cam or what-have-you but if you're sensitive overall about your privacy and security inside the house, this might not be the best device for your purposes, you're better off buying a wireless ip camera that's password protected either by wep or better yet, wpa or wpa2.

Pros: 1 . Fullfil their requirement.
2 . Less than a minut to make it works.
3 . Works even througt 2 floors very smooth.

Cons: 1 . Price considered higher than expected for the product.
2 . Cant maximize the range cause antenna is fixed.
3 . Becomes black and white at night. For black and white i could by one with especifications.

Other: Bessides everything described up, it works as it made of. I could look more at DX for a better one.

Pros: Cheap Wireless Enough resolution Enough sensibility for night street illumination - to get better image, possibly would need active LEDs Very compact and discreet in the outside

Cons: Sensitivity to interferences Viewing angle A bit difficult to optimize wireless sync (very sensitive adjust)

Other: Decided to give it a try before purchasing a more professional cam (after all the receiver can be used with any 2,4 wireless cam, so just it is worth this price) and eventually it is enough for my needs (surveyance from up to 15mts, street quite illuminated at night).

Pros: Easy and fast installation, up to 4 cameras (each camera has it's own switch to make it the 1,2,3,4-th one) on one object, rather good reception distance.

Cons: very sensitive adjust

Other: Unsecured 2.4Ghz freq. is not a real problem - because if you worry that someone can sniff data from camera he is going to be very near to camera, so right placing the cameras and recivers will revoke this problem

Pros: Nice camera and receiver for a good price. I use the whole package for home surveilance, and it fit. the price easy to install low energie use easy to install to an external device like tv/recorder.

Cons: sometimes hard to configigure if you have installed more 2,4Ghz camera's. If you have lots of metal in your walls, the signale have problems to comming through

Other: If you want to have some "surveilance" for a reasonble price, its a oke product!
