Pros: The flashlight is very bright. I have just received 2 of these, and these are my first XM-L T6 lights. They are far brighter than other CREE lights that I own. 3 Modes is great. Its about time DealExtreme offers a light with 3 modes instead of the 5 mode lights where you have to cycle through strobe and SOS which no one ever cares to use. The 3 modes are nice, I mostly use high or low since medium isn't that different from high. In low mode it is slightly dimmer than a cree The casing is well built. There are 2 O-Rings for the battery cap. The front screws off so that you can get to the glass, however it seems that the middle portion may be glued so that it won't screw apart. I saw in another thread for a similar flashlight that this may be done for better thermal transmission to the outer casing.
Cons: Won't Tailstand...this was a disappointment since I sometimes like to walk into a room at night with the flashlight and set it on end to use as a nightlight while getting ready for bed, however it is VERY difficult to balance on its end. The rubber sticks out from the end so it has to sit on the rubber button which isn't very stable for tail standing.
Other: Great light. From the 2 I bought, both seem equal in brightness and functionality so quality control seems adequate. I recommend it for anyone who likes a good flashlight.

Pros: -very bright flashlight. Much brighter then MC-E but the consumption current is much lower! -Very good and strong outer coating. After more then one month of using it has no worn spots no scratches etc. - It's cold. Really! Its not a "handwarmer" like a P7 ))) - THERE IS NO MORE USELESS BLINKING MODES!!!!
Cons: -It is big ((((. It is uncomfortable in pocket. - real brightnes is much lower than predicated in technical data. Real brightnes is about 390 lumen. (Look at "other thouts") - distribution of light modes is some uncomfortable (look lower)
Other: The carrent consumption of flashlight in different modes is 0.1A - 0.5A - 1A. So in a minimum brightnes the light is redundant for some tasks, it's blinding sometimes. The 0.5 A mode is very close to 1A mode. The ideal distribution of light would be 0.05A - 0.3A - 1.5 A)))))) At 1A this LED gives a ~390 lumen. You can see this on a manufacturer site.
