What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Great protected Li-ion batteries at a low price. I ordered 4 in total and all arrived at 3.9V
Cons: However, due to the protection circuit in these batteries, they dont all allow the tail cap to screw down fully. They all vary in size and one is much bigger than the others
Other: Good value but quality control could do with a looking at.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: the protection circuit works and I have charged them in the DSD Charger. The voltage when finished charging was 4.16 volts. They work well in my Surefire 6P lights and the single cell Cree MXDL. They are a bit too long for the single 3 watt Cree P4.
Cons: none
Other: I'll buy them again

Pros: Cells protected against undercharging (2.5V), overcurrent (how much?) and overcharging (4.2+0.05V). Really low price. Evidently replace common 16340 unprotected cells in all application there high current bursts do not required.
Cons: Build quality may be better. Wider than unprotected cell in 0.33mm (this is OK) but higher for 2mm because of protection board. Not good for xenon and for some high current direct drive flashlights.
Other: Will buy again.

Pros: Decent value for a protected Li-Ion
Cons: The batteries are 2 mm too long therefore they can't fit in my P2D-CE
Other: I just placed another order of these for my other lights which have more forgiving battery length acception
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Bought a pair of these, along with MXDL 3w torch [SKU 2110]. They work just fine. I haven't done any run-time tests with them just yet, but I will through time. They fit perfectly in that application and I've had over 25 minutes of runtime already from delivered batteries. I really should have charged them first, but wanted to just begin using torch straight away. Naughty me, I know!
Cons: I have experienced no cons with them so far. Time will tell, however.
Other: Very useful item at a bargain price. I will be picking up some more of these. Thank you DX, you service was extremely good too. You must all put in a lot of effort!

Pros: Reasonably priced, protected cells.
Cons: A little too long for use in my Fenix P3D. I have reserved these for use in my single cell lights. The width is fine and works in all of my applications.
Other: These are a good deal if they fit your light.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good build and wraps, seems durable. Not real capacity. Protected so it is safer.
Cons: 2mm longer than standard 16340, some of my flashlight doesn't work and some even became not water tight because of the longer body.
Other: Cheap affordable, for supper bright flashlight and safe.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These are very nice batteries, especially for flashlights.
Cons: Its little longer then my regular, non protected CR123s.
Other: Get it! This a another great DX bargain!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Good capacity - Nice price
Cons: - A bit longer than unprotected ones, but not much.
Other: I liked theese batteries. Will definately buy more when I need!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: 1. Rechargeable 2. Good build quality 3. Low price
Cons: 1. The length of the battery is 2mm longer than the usual CR123A. The extra 2mm space is used for the protection circuit board. Before buying it, test if this length works well in your device by sticking a 2mm thick object on the pole of the CR123A. 2. The capacity is my biggest complaint. It says 880mah on the label. Before buying it, I imagined that it might be as low as 600mah. No, it's wrong. It runs only 15mins in my flash that runs 1 hour with CR123A. So, the actual capacity is around 300-400mah. That's just half of the labeled capacity.
Other: it's cheap and has the protection circuit. Then, I just have to charge it too often.
