Pros: Great value for the money, its prighter than the maglite 3d cell led (who is a big flaslight compared to this small one) that just blow me away.
Cons: No one yet
Other: A god buy, and the light is imoressive
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Take everything you like about the C3, and make it brighter. Considerably brighter that the XR-E version of this light. I don't have a light meter, so I can only give you "naked eye" info, sorry. I have a Fenix L2D, and dare I say that it's as bright, perhaps a smidge brighter the the L2D in TURBO MODE. The Fenix has a blueish tint, this one has a slightly more yellow tinge to it. (not much) The Q5 emitter is awesome. I have been anxiously awaiting this light since I first saw it here. I love it... more more... hehe
Cons: none, what are you waiting for? Order one already.
Other: You won't be disappointed when you get your grubby little mitts on one of these baby's

Pros: What can I say but "WOW!" This thing is bright.
Cons: none
Other: I think this will become my new addiction.

Pros: Uses 1 or 2 AA. It's bright with 2AA only. You can't get it for less then DX price. So far I don't know who else sale Q5 AA Flashlights in $20 range.
Cons: It's dim when powered by 1 AA. Doesn't look like it has regulator! I expected to get the same output with 1 AA and 2 AA, but less runtime. No it doesn't work for me in this way. You have to use 2 AA all the time as with just 1 AA it will not deliver much light.
Other: I expected that this Q5 would outperform Ultrafire WF-606A 3W Cree Flashlight, but it didn't happen :-(
Both at the same price.
This one isn't as sturdy as Ultrafire WF-606A 3W Cree Flashlight.

Pros: Very bright, reasonably long throw for an LED emmitter, nice length
Cons: AAs rattle inside, switch on mine is AWFUL. The torch won't stay on, needs to be shaken to get it to work. The seal around the glass on the lens is non existent and the glass moves without force.
Other: Disappointing. Cree/Ultrafire have the ability to be a market-leading torch manufacturer for environments like law enforcement and fire & rescue but NOT if they continue to have problems like all mine have.

Pros: Very bright for something so little, even when using AA batteries. 14500 produces even brighter lights, but I think AA batteries last a bit longer (depending on the power rating of the batteries used really). Very small and portable.
Cons: Can always be brighter and cheaper :) A nice little toy but can't afford to have too many around :(
Other: A must if you need that extra light for whatever reason you may have (going out at night, camping/tramping, fixing something in the house, etc etc).
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Small -works with AA (even works fine with a single eneloop) -reasonable amount of light output
Cons: threads were dry and scratchy. A little lube fixed them
5 modes(It has a memory, but always advances to the next setting) It's supposed to be single mode
Other: Nice light. You may end up with a multi mode version. It's very slim, almost seems disproportional.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: bright!
it has a good beam
small case
good case quality and looks good
5 modes
Cons: the brightness is different with all accapted batteries - 1 AA is the worst, 2 AA is much better, but 1 Li-Ion 14500 is the brightest.
the case gets quite warm on full power.
the 5 modes are changed by switching the switch (soft touch on the switch or by turning off and on), this is a bit aggravating because when the lamp is turned on, the mode is always a other.
Battery life is not very good with 14500 li-ion cell on full power (i think about 30 minutes, not tested yet)
Other: Nice flashlight for the price.
When you search for a small light with high brightness, take it and use 1x14500 or 2xAA NiMh (Sanyo Eneloop recommended, i´ll test GP ReCyKo soon (next DX order)).

Pros: Very bright, unbelievable for such a small flashlight. Every other flashlight I have pales in comparison. Seems almost if not copletely as bright with a single AA as with two AAs, so it must have a regulator: I hear a very faint buzz in some modes if I put it to my ear. I also got 5-mode flashlight. Turns on at medium (good, brighter even on medium than 12-LED head lamp), lightly tap on the tail clickie for low, then bright (oh, yes, it's bright all right), then flashing mode, then SOS mode (very slow, but who cares), then cycles back to medium. Very well built, has rubber ring seals on every thread, feels very solid. I have to say it's much better built than I expected.
Cons: If you turn it of and on after a few seconds it just cycles to next mode, that's a bit unconvenient to go through 5 modes to get back to where you ended last time. But when you wait a bit longer, it turns on at default medium mode. Doesn't come with a case.
Other: Looks like the best bang for the buck from all the CREE flashlights here. Works on AAs (also accepts 14500 3.6V lithium battery - never tried that) - that's very convenient. I don't know why they make so many lights that only work with AAAs. They are so much more expensive.

Pros: This lamp ist very very bright. If you run it with one single 14500 Li-Io battery you will experience another boost in brithness. I measured 1.14A with a 3.7V 14500 battery.
With two 1.5V batteries i measured 970 mA. Very good. My favourite lamp, because it is so small and extremly bright. Build quality also seems to be good or very good.
Five modes are very useful.
Very good Price, bright, small and portable!
Cons: Battery lifetime is short. You should carry some 14500 Batteries in your pocket. But that's ok. Brightness needs power.
You may switch into another mode to reduce power consumption.
Other: My best lamp. Please look for other reviews by me in the next weeks/month.
I give 10 Points for britghness.
