UltraFire UF-T90 4 x Cree XM-L U2 2000lm 2-Mode Memory Crown Head Flashlight - Black (4 x 18650)

Pros: Magnificently bright. Unheard-of bright. wow. bright. Did I mention bright? When compared to my 1400 lumen video projector, it washes out the entire wall making the picture totally disappear, zero contrast. To walk all over a 1400 lumen projector beam like that is mind boggling. on/fade to low/fast strobe with memory is quick to turn on and off.

Cons: Weather seal o-ring is very loose and easy to pop out and trap in the threads. (could use a slightly smaller o-ring and be ok) Handle quite small. With the weight of the light and batteries its balanced well but definitely not designed to use your whole hand (only 3 finger grooves and it feels awkward). Hard to set to full on. press-hold to turn on/fade down/fade up, but no obvious 'step' of 100% so there is often some pwm flicker from it running at 95%.

Other: If you need a ridonculous light then get this flashlight.

Pros: I really like this one! Broad hot spot, good colours, very compact- fits in a (big) pocket (without handle), swiching system is very clever, and it has a main swich in the contact plate. Lumen claim is not unrealistic, build quality seems to be good. Handle is easy to remove if you dont want to use it.

Cons: You have to find a way to plug the hole flush, if you remove the handle, othervise the head of the screw will be in the way, handling the swich. I used a short 1/4" keyway set screw and black silicone cement. No user manual, you have to figure out the swiching system yourself.

Other: Buy it! It is just as good as much more pricy comparable lights.
