UltraFire W200 200-Meter Waterproof Diver's Cree P4-WC 176-Lumen LED Flashlight (3*AA)

Pros: Well built. Good size.
Body is made of some sort of plastic. Probably Acetal. Head is aluminium. The body has a attachment point for a lanyard or a snap bolt.
Beam is tight at about 5 degrees hot spot with a little spill.

Cons: Mine arrived with a scratch on the head. No big deal Its bound to get more.
After 20 minutes of use it started to flicker. I have heard similar reports. Its really annoying.
Enough to put me off

Other: If you want to use it as is dont buy it. If you want to modify it get it. You will not be disappointed. You may need a lathe though but then who doesnt!

Pros: Very bright, Supper strong, Comfortable handle, Takes AA batteries. It is the best diving torch I have come across, the run time is amazing.

Cons: First torch after 20 minutes started to flicker then went to dim most of the time. Sent back & the replacement was fantastic. Would like an option for bright color Orange as nearly lost a couple times already as disappears in the weed.

Other: Great torch with outstanding battery life very bright and extremely robust.
If you dive it is a must to have.

Pros: Built like a tank, i think i could use this as a weapon on its own. Once loading the 3 AA cells in it becomes very significant in weight (which would probably not make a difference underwater).
Okay here goes:-
Fit and finish: superb, 3 O-rings in the head, fat and thick to ensure water sealing capabilities. Body is thick and hefty with many corrugations to ensure that it will not slip in the hand. The lanyard hole is very nicely machined with no rough edges and is big enough so you can tie a thicker cord.
Head is very heavy and takes some effort to twist which i believe is built that way as otherwise it may come off too easily underwater.
Beam: This is a thrower light, believe it needs to be that way for underwater use. The thickness of the glass at the head makes a white wall beamshot show some rainbow tinted corona which is completely not there when used outdoors in real life.
Beamshape: very tight spot, very nice spill too.

Cons: None that i can think of, will update or post another review once my brother comes back from his diving trips (if there are any).

Other: Simply amazing light, would have no qualms bringing this light anywhere.

Pros: This is a very well made dive light. It has multiple o-rings as needed. The glass lens is press fit so the only opening is the head to body opening where you put in the batteries. This is also how you switch the light on and off. There are 3 o-rings just in this area alone. There are two more in the lens area. It has a very tight beam.

Cons: There are different versions of this light and you never know which you will receive. Some have drivers and some do not. Some have more o-rings than others and some have a different design to the pill/heat sink. It doesn't really matter all that much but if you are planning to mod this light you would like for all of them to be the same.

Other: This thing is built like a tank, has excellent throw, uses common batteries, and with or without a driver works well as a backup light. If you want an easy to carry light to use on night dives for a tropical vacation this would work as well but you might want a wider beam in that case. This is a backup light that anyone would be pleased with.

Pros: -Very robust -Very Bright -Very usefful like secundary -Not too big -Can attach a landyard -Use AA betteries -Good run time In spanish: La linterna no es muy grande y la verdad que esta bastante bien, usa pilas AA (baratas) y cumple con su funcion a la perfeccion. Cuerpo de plastico y cabeza de aluminio.

Other: Im very happy with this torch, i wanna buy one more to have two auxiliary. Yo la recomiendo

Pros: This light has been great, I have it set up as a Back-up. I use it for wreck and Cavern Diving. I have built many lights and this light for the price point is outstanding. You can't get anything equivalent for this price. Its great that it uses regular AA Batteries. Easy to replace batteries before dives.

Cons: None so far in the 8 months that I have owned it.

Other: Don't let the lower reviews deter you from buying this light, I thinks its excelent. I have a plastic one that I bought for a simliar price and the quality is not even close.

Pros: Bright enough.
Simple construction-not likely to fail.
Good candidate for modification.
Good grip and mountable on speargun.

Cons: The beam could be wider!
P4 is an old stuff - time to upgrade to Q5 at least! There are enough review s and modification to take into consideration and renew the item!

Other: In general very good flashlight, I got it to mount on a speargun and illuminate dark places during the daylight spearfishing. NOTE: For Freshwater Spearfishing like rivers, lakes & chanels etc...

Pros: Looks like you could drive a truck over it without problems. Be a week before I get it in deep water, but seems unlikely to leak. Only one access point, and it has 3 oversize o-rings. O-ring around press-fit [?] bevel plastic lens. Two more at top of heap, but only for decoration, I checked. From brightness, lumen rating probably close to target. Screw on/off switch works well. Delrin body probably helps. Some lights tend to seize and difficult to handle underwater. Good price compared to competition,and brighter.

Cons: Kind of heavy, 10.25 oz with batts, for a light that has only 3*AA. Could have been made smaller and lighter, see other thoughts. Hole in base a bit small for a robust split ring, make loop with heavy tuna line, head know with lighter and clamp down. Ne ver had one of these come apart.

Other: Despite rants, still good price, solid construction, pretty good dive light.

Pros: This is a bright and focused backup dive light. It's very robust and even over engineered with a 6 mil lens in a 30 mil diameter. There are o-rings everywhere.

Cons: I've owned two and no two are alike. Some have drivers, some have driver boards with no drivers, and some have no driver boards at all. Some have 2 o-rings where you twist the head and some have 3.

Other: It's well made,bright and focused and at a good price.

Pros: Good built and light weight. Small enough to fit onto BCD or into pocket.
Works well in Irish waters.
Perfect as Backup Torch in green water and in blue water good as Primary torch.
Three O-Rings around neck and seal is great.

Cons: Had to send two back as faulty but support from DX was great and replacement one is working perfectly.

Other: Must buy if you want a great small LED Torch, excellent value for money!
