Ultrasonic Sensor Distance Measuring Module

Pros: The overall quality of this product is really good, so the price is really cheap, it works just fine with my diy arduino clone. Works just fine with the arduino code which is available on the web

Cons: Nothing that i can complain about, the little gadget does what it is intended to

Other: It is a good product for your hobby robotics projects or any distance detection project. The money payed for it was worth it

Pros: It is relative cheap Not that hard to use

Cons: Suffers from a common 200ms no target "bug" compared to the datasheet available from other sites (They specify 38ms) http://www.mentby.com/paul-bouchier/ultrasonic-sensor.html 450cm range

Other: A fine sensor I might order more if I need them.

Pros: Build quality is good. Works as advertised, however I wish the range was better. Price is unbeatable.

Cons: I may need to tweak the code a bit, but using tutorials found in the Internet, the range isn't much better than 2-3 feet.

Other: You won't be measuring the dimensions of a room with this, but it'll work fine keeping say a robot from smashing into too much stuff. Easily worth the price paid.

Pros: I had my time with sonars and this one is cool one especially because of it's price and quality. The 4-pin design makes it clear how to use it without runtime pinmode switching (unlike the 3-pin sonars). It's nice in close-range measures.

Cons: It's far from the stated measurement distance and the reading speed could also be faster. The 4-pin design can be a drawback when using a platform with a small number of pins.

Other: Good price, also the discount possibility is really great. I'd recommend using them in hobby robots for detecting close-range obstacles.

Pros: Works Great! No False Readings at all! Very Accurate Readings! Nice and Small to use for embedded applications. Easy to Use.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of. It's just that good!

Other: It's just great for the price! It does what it's suppose to do! I've seen more expensive ones that don't even work as good!

Pros: Centimeter accuracy Goes from 0cm to farther than 2,5m four pin interface unbeatable price

Cons: I found nothing bad about it.

Other: This is must-have for any robot, and for the price, you can put them everywhere.

Pros: Excellent ultrasonic module has arrived safely and in good condition, is REALLY EASY to use only necessary to send a trigger signal and wait for you to return an echo, the idea of this module is measurement of distance and obstacles. and the best way to use is coupled to a microcontroller. Anyway, it is very easy to use and configure.

Cons: No problems, doing very well.

Other: Get this one, you won't find it cheaper.

Pros: Precise. Easy to use, well documented ... on the web. In French: Precis. Facile à utiliser, bien documenté... sur le web.

Cons: Range, depending on the material and the angle, it is difficult to exceed 2.5 meters, but we always want more ... In French: La portée, selon la matière et l'angle, il est difficile de dépasser 2,5 mètres, mais on en veux toujours plus...

Other: Small, light, cheap. I recommend this product. In French: Petit, leger, pas cher. Je recommande ce produit.

Pros: Price is very good, for this device. It can't meassure very long distances but, for detecion of movemant closeby it is perfect or hit detection on a robot

Cons: A con is that they deliver different versions if you order them seperatly

Other: Perfect product if you are into building robots or other Arduino projects. If you need a detection sensor this one is the one you need. Great product for this money
