I have also the original smart cover and I prefer to put this one on my ipad

Pros: I have bought this to have both the wake-up/sleep features and a protective backing for my ipad2 and it works as expected.
The magnet keeps the lid closed properly when you carry it with you. It is also very thin making it very comfortable to carry.

Cons: The black material is prone to getting lint. Nothing that a good wipe can fix which is probably common for all black covers

Other: Overall very good value with features and build quality that almost match the originals.

Cons: -The cover material gets dirty so easily with dust or anything you could imagin. Otherwise its easy to clean it
-The 30 pin connector hole is a bit comfortless, but you can plug the connector with almost no problem.

Other: Maybe I'll buy an identically case but in another colour or leather to avoid the dirty a little.
After a hard case searching I thing this is the best option.

Cons: - A little bit hard to lock with magnet
- The magnets on the smart cover for folding itnto stand up is a liittle bit bad
- When you have it in standing position, it easily slip (not a big problem, at all)
- It's hard to get the charger to fit into the hole when the iPad is n the case. You have to watch. If it reall charges.

Other: If you want full protection, buy it!

Pros: A great cover in a great price.

Doesn't disturb the speaker, so the sound is still great.
The cover folds into a nice supporting leg that holds th Ipad for you and makes the reading more fun and easier

Cons: Like all covers, doesn't fit perfectly, so the Iad slips a bit every once in a while and you have to push it back in.
The supporting leg is good, but if you try to push something without supporting the Ipad with the other hand it might fall

Pros: This item has what the original cover for the IPAD 2 doesnt have. A back protection, which is great! Using this cover, you will be able to protect you ipad 2 even better, protecting it from scratches and dust at the back end. Material feels like the same as the original smart cover.

Cons: The magnets in the ' smart ' part of the cover are not that great. For this I prefer the original smart cover. There is one flap you have to bend in the cover, which is kind of useless and makes the cover fit less.

Other: If you need a cheap smart cover, take this. If the manufacture creates the same smart cover, but with better magnets, this item is a must have item for everybody.

The cover is made accurately, ipad2 very densely sits in a cover The cover is very similar on original for ipad1 and the material is similar. The speaker isn't closed, a sound loud

Other: The low price, convenient cover, good choice. I expect that the cover will be quickly spoiled, but even the original cover for ipad too was spoiled

Pros: Fits well, nice cover material. Protects front and back of your iPad.

Cons: Does not close straight. One corner a little further than other. Smart Cover function does not always work when closing and opening. There is a large percentage of false on-off's. Original Smart cover works better but there is false off's too when you put in in the back of iPad.

Other: I'd like to buy more quality item instead.

Pros: - Cheap, if you compare with the real only screen cover one. - Durable, I own mine for more than a month and is in perfect shape - Looks really nice around the iPad

Cons: - The front cover doesn't always turn off the screen. - The front cover is a little loose. - The iPad tends to move inside the case and you have to adjust it time to time.

Other: If you don't have any case, this one if perfect. If you already have the real one, don't bother to buy it, you will go back to the other in less than a week.
