Uni-t UT203 Digital Clamp Multimeter (AC/DC 600V 400A Max)

Pros: - Build quality is good and it appears to be a genuine Uni-t meter.
- Can be used for most measurements as long as true rms accuracy isn't required.
- Comes with a nice storage case and a pair of test leads.

Cons: - Does not do true RMS readings.
Other than lacking T-RMS, it does not have any cons at all.

Other: It is a good clampmeter at a good price.
It does what it is supposed to and it does it good.

Pros: -Good build quality (feels sollid).
-dc measurmentfunction.
-Very usefull for most common electrical measurments.
-nice solid storage bag.
-easy to use.

Cons: -none till now, accept for.
-there is no true rms measurement.
-It shows a reading when it is supposed to read nothing. but it can be corrected by using the delta function

Other: Good, nice priced easy to use clamp muntimeter.

Pros: This Clampmeter measurers DC Current as well as AC and is ideal for measuring charging current on motor vehicles in seconds. Just clip over the main battery cable .take a reading and that's it.This exact item is available at many High Street shops for twice the price

Cons: None that I can think of , if the clamp space was a little smaller it would be more accurate as the wire must ideally be in the centre of the clamp space.It's not really a con but the only improvement I would like to see

Pros: All is pro on this clamp. Good materials, seems a lot good. The cables are resistant, well isolated. The measures are accured (i tested with other multimeters at service). For a non-RMS mesure, is the best bet!

Cons: Could be RMS. But thats ok for me, i dont use it for measures out the AC-60Hz and DC.

Other: For use at home and small repairs. Sometimes even at work, for a while. I really recommend!

Pros: Its a basic clampmeter that competes well with similar yet higher priced products.

Cons: The default mode is DC, when AC is the default on all FLUKE clampmeters. Kinda annoying to switch to ampacity, then press select every time. Also, it would be nice to have a backlight, but at this cost, I dont care too much.

Other: It works out well for my field use just as a simple Voltmeter and clamp Ammeter, So I'm happy.

Pros: This clamp-meter looks well made and good materials. The cables are good for the price, well isolated. I don't do lots of measures to confirm the accuracy.

Cons: The price could be lower. For Ampere (AC), the clamp vary a little bit without a powered wire inside it. I'm not sure about the precision. 9V batteries, could be AAA.

Other: For use at home and maybe even at work, for a while, it can be a good choice. The price could be lower.

Pros: Keep in mind that this multimeter measures DC (Direct Current), and not AC (Alternating Current) alone. All of the cheaper clamp meters measure AC current only. With auto ranging and the DC clamp on current measurement, this meter is an excellent value.

Cons: None of any consequence. The lack of RMS (See a UT204) measurement is not a major factor in my opinion, when sinewave measurements are made. I have digital oscilloscope instrumentation to deal with non-sinewave measurements, if necessary.

Other: Fine product that is an excellent value. A truly worthy clamp multimeter for your electronic workshop.

Pros: Best feature - DC clamp ammeter reading down to low currents. Seems solid, easy to use.

Cons: DC current scale has a 0.7A offset for me. I am in the UK, and I suspect it needs to be calibrated for the local magnetic field. Using the Delta button for each reading is a reasonable workaround. DC current is also a bit variable, by 100 or 200 mA, but that's not a problem for my usage.

Other: Not bad, definitely worth the money.

Pros: Best Price (DX = $38, In my city = $58). Best time to get (placed on May 4, 2011, received May 16, 2011 in my postoffice). There is a measurement of DC! There is a reset current value before the measurement (Zero). Convenient storage case. Included is the battery.

Cons: Bad that there is no peak hold.
Paper box is little crumpled during transit.

Pros: Item is very good. it is precise and also easy to handle.
when in DC please use the zero meter to counter act any electromagnetic field that might distort the real value.
This can be check at easy by power in the meter with no current going on. Once the read is on the meter press the zero button to avoid taking this value into account

Cons: Nothing at all
Very good product. Checked against a true RMS current meter serial and had only 2% difference

Other: buy it with no doubts. Very good meter at a cheap price. Locally costs 8 times the value
