Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Very well machined and with thick walls, just like all Akoray family, - anodizing maybe type II (its not very hard but its OK) - nice square knurling - GITD orings everywhere for a special look (not very useful) - glass lens - pocket clip is good enough and it works as a anti rolling system. Beam its quite smooth (was expecting much worse), with a slightly bluish tint and it throws quite far (more then 100 meters).
Cons: Its dificult to find cons on such a bargain, but I will try: - Only 1 mode (you knew that :)) - Its not a Cree - It does not have a gift package option
Other: This light is quite good for a single mode flashlight and its a bargain for the price
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Excellent outer finish Clip appears strong Good usable beam Does not get warm
Cons: In my opinion the power switch is too hard to operate.
Other: All in all a no-nonsense simple light that does the job.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Build is solid, looked exactly like my Akoray K106. Output on NiMH eneloop is respectable but when i used a 14500, WOW!!! Blazing bright output. When compared to my other 14500 lights, it was brighter! No idea on the runtime but hey, if you want to impress your friends with a pocket rocket, this is the light to go for. One of my friends loved it so much that i had to give it to him on the spot (it was his birthday). So i ordered TWO more for myself.
Cons: Clip is not as strong as Akoray K106 but still secure enough to carry very discreetly in pocket.
Tint is just very slightly to greenish but if you use 14500 cells, you will not notice it
Other: For a simple, well built, VERY well priced light with only a single mode, you cannot go wrong with this one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Simple, well made, all parts fit together nicely. Threads are smooth as silk once you clean it up and reapply some lubricant. Pop in an energize alkaline, click and wow! It is darn bright for its size. Change that to a 14500 and it is a blazingly bright light!!! I kid you not, it looks easily 150 - 180 lumens if not more!! Tint is just slightly yellowish green on AAs but is very nice when running on 14500. The clip enables this light to be deep carried in your pocket without the tailcap sticking out, if you dont want to attract any attention at all, change it to a black tailcap. Did i mention this light is BRIGHT?? Oh, it can tailstand too. No ideas about runtime as yet.
Cons: None actually, for its price point, it does 10x better than many other single mode lights.
Other: Get these for simple, one mode, no brainer lights to put in toolboxes, as emergency lights etc.

Pros: -Quite bright -Pocket size -Acceptable beam -Gitd switch -Feels and looks like a quality product -Accepts 14500 and AA so it's a versitale flashlight -Detachable pocket clip -PRICE!!!!!! -Single mode (for single mode lovers)
Cons: -Scratches easly -Pocket clip is quite ugly -Tiny hotspot -Heavy power drain -single mode (for mode lovers)
Other: You cant't beat the price! This is a versitale EDC light. Very compact, light and usefull. When powered by 14500 It's close to 160 lumens.

Pros: Straightforward form factor (tube). Good knurling that isn't too sharp but still improves grip. I've only used with Eneloop AA and it puts out a very strong light with excellent spill.
Cons: Some may say the reverse clicky. I do prefer a forward clicky but really don't have a problem with reverse. Also, light is noticeably green/yellow. Other reviews have touched on this but it was more pronounced than I thought it would be. That said, I just bought the thing so I'm probably a bit more on the lookout for this sort of thing. I'll probably find it less noticeable in actual use over time (and when not directly comparing to other flashlights over and over again).
Other: Great light for a great price especially if you're looking for good spill.

Pros: OSRAM led is not bad at all. Compares well with cree leds, provides a larger more diffuse beam. Good great useful simple tail clip. simple one mode. I have got the 5 modes cree version, and this one is not bad at all.
Cons: Good as it is. Could be thinner.
Other: Dependable led light and also a great receptacle for mods.

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by this little flashlight, even though I have other lights that have an Osram Golden Dragon emitter. It's plenty bright but what makes it stand out for me, is its perfectly smooth beam. The hot spot is fairly large and compared to other 14500 lights, it produces a lot of usable, fairly warm light. Throw is adequate. Single mode (might be a pro for some), reverse clicky which seems to work pretty well (based mostly on my experience with the K-106). Came lightly lubed.
Cons: Heats up quickly on 14500 which is what I use for most of my lights and gets *quite* warm. Battery life less than impressive (didn't do runtime tests using primaries but I usually get less than 40 minutes on freshly charged TF 14500s).
Other: For the money, it's a great deal.

Pros: What a great little light , I was not expecting it to be so good , every now and again you come across a great buy , this is one of those .
Cons: The pill was lose in the body , gave me an opportunity to cut some slots in it to make it easy to tighten and remove ..
Other: Pulls a lot of current , at least mine does , end result is a lot of light . Run it on Alkaline's or Lithiums and be happy , I dont know if the little emitter will stand up to 14500 use , but a 3 mode [ Hi-Med-Lo ] driver would make this one of the best EDC lights on the market .
ATM = Love it , for under $10USD Shipped , what a great buy ... Please DX , make this light Hi-med-lo ........ [ NO STROBE ]

Pros: + Very good anodizing. No scratches. Gold-brownish color. + No machining flaws + Veeeery clean, lubed and smooth threads + Good and reliable switch + Glass lens + Metal reflector (orange peel, deeper than akoray k-106 and similars) + Sturdy clip + Minimum weight for an AA light + Driver not epoxied (can fit a 16,8mm one without removing the brass ring) + Tailcap rubber cap with GITD + Orings everywhere (all are GITD) + OSRAM Golden Dragon Plus LED is a performer! + Accepts alkalines/nimh/14500 (protected ones, also) + Insane output with 14500 (about 220lumens). More than aceptable with ni-mh/alkalines (about 120 lumens) + PERFECT beam, veeeeery flood with no hotspot (one of the best beams I have seen) + My sample has a WARM white tint beam + Probably new and more efficient driver than earlier ones (draws only 1,78A with NiMh and boast F20 which draws 2,2A) + Reverse clickie switch (easy replaceable) + Low price
Cons: - Only 1 mode. Heats up on 14500 after more than 10 minutes. - Not regulated with 14500 until voltage drops below 3,8volt. - Not much alkaline friendly, best to use NiMh, Li-ion or Lithium primaries (due to high amp draw and lack of modes) - Bad solders in the driver board (connecting the driver board to the pill)
Other: In the AA form factor there are not many flashlights than this: perfect body, perfect construction, simple operation, INSANE power on 14500, floody beam...... The combination of this body and an OSRAM Golde Dragon LED is perfect! and the price makes it probably the best single mode AA light! What are you waiting for? BUY IT NOW!
