Pros: - nice lamp, small and very bright for one AA
- has a common battery type
- runs over 60 minutes with 1 AA!
- 2 o-rings on tailcap
- all modes work properly
- has a good size for carrying around.
- good build quality, very solid
- flashlight heating up, but not hot
- fits nicely in my hand
- could be around 350 lumen
- switch seems to be solid
- has a carrying strap
- clean white light, not green or blue tint

Cons: - no tailstand (not really a con)
- no mode-memory (starts with high!)
- threads need a little lube to make sure that they work smoothly
- head it's glued

Other: If you need an small and very bright lamp, you should buy this one! Great for this money!

Pros: A very nice AA light , well built , good finish , feels good in the hand . I was initially pleased with the light , though I was expecting better performance from the XP-G R5

Cons: Output VS current = rather poor output for a XP-G R5 .
WARNING , 14500 may kill the driver , I tried a 14500 and the driver is now damaged , AA's will no longer power up the light , needs a driver swap now .

Other: Its a nice AA light , good build quality , but output is nothing special on AA batteries , and if you go 14500 you may kill the driver , as I have .

Pros: This little light was almost perfect til I use a 14500 battery. great design,flawless machine work, really thought I had a new pocket pal.

Cons: Unfortunatly heres the reason not to buy this light if you plan on using a 14500. i only last 1 afternoon then burnt out the driver. what a shame a great little light with a cheep driver. I am not the only one having this trouble either so buyers beware.

Other: The bottom line is if you want a 14500 light stay away if you want a aa light grab it its well built.

Pros: Looks good. Good built quality except for the driver. Quite Bright. 5 modes. More trower than flowder.

Cons: Driver can´t manage 14500 Litium batteries. This torch claims to be able to work with 14500 batteries but it doesn´t. Driver replacement not available.

Other: Don´t buy it. If you plan to use Litium batteries please consider other options.

Pros: Very compact and plenty of light - especially for sch a small flash light that easily fits into a shirt pocket. Light Output with 14500's is much better than with an AA Cell only. It still provides dim, but useful light with spent AA cells (tried with one that had 0.9V).

Cons: Since the XP-G R5 has a maximum Voltage Rating of 3.75V - it is probably not a good idea to use fully charged 14500 Cells (which then have 4.1-4.2 Volts). I only charge the 14500's for this light to 3.7-3.8 Volts and the light hasn't yet failed.

Other: Happy with my purchase and am considering getting more ..

Pros: Great pocket torch, I use it with old Ni-MH AA cells and it's shine is FASCINATING! It lasts very long time on just one old AA, at least 1h on MAX. 6 functions are great because you can adjust the battery consumption and when I'm riding my bike with fast strobe, everyone can see me very well. Worth the price for those who wants powerful pocket-sized AA torch. The assault crown is good then someone attacks you:))

Cons: None so far! Great torch.

- very sufficient build qualitiy
- all 6 modes working (perfect!!!)

Other: If you are looking for a bright AA LED-Flashlight, small enough to carry with you everyday, or for storage in car, kitchen, living-room or elsewhere...don´t hesitate, BUY!

Pros: Very good light output with the best alkaline batteries (High end duracell or energizer...) Not too bluish instead of other high output LED's It is waterproof (just dont forget to screw it well)

Cons: The mode selection is not handy Sometimes bad contacts but not very problematic (i can't find where or why) The driver is just a crap ( light starts very bright and dims 10-15% after 1-2 sec and don't try above 3.9V ) Tryed with 2 AA = same light output after some seconds again the driver should output some more power it's not getting that much hot so one AA is enough

Other: I have a friend in the french police that have the same flash light buyed for around 120€ in france hahahahaha Change that *ù$^ driver !!

Pros: Quite compact At first vzlyad qualitatively quite done It is convenient to switch the function on and off without going over other modes The light is very bright - used AA batteries.

Cons: Was unable to unscrew the reflector to the LED, that would not shine the beam, and a scattering of light, can it be done - but I did not succeed.

Other: Excellent, useful and practical purchase. Satisfied.

Pros: - Very bright flashlight with AA battery.
- My flashlight sample store last mode in memory.
When I off and on - last mode appear. This is good.
- Work 80 minutes at HIGH mode with 2850 NiMH AA battery
- Spot shape is excellent
- Temperature of case is about 40 degree.

Cons: - 6 modes are too much. I think 3 strobe mode is useless.
- Strap band seems fragile
