Universal 12-Holes Guitar Pickup - Black + Silver (290-Cable Length)

Pros: I have connected my acoustic guitar with this pickup to Roland Cube 30x Amp and gives me nice sound. Build quality is good. When you turn on your amp to distortion, you can play pulp fiction theme on your acoustic and it will sound good. Price You get 3m cable and nice little packing :)

Cons: No cons, everything is ok. I have waited a litlle longer but it was Christmas and New Year so I understand it

Other: Buy it, it`s cheap. You wont regret it for turning your acoustic to electro acoustic guitar.

Pros: First of all, I should say that I am very much a beginner on guitar. I played for a short while several years ago, and I'm just picking it up after a long time. So please consider my comments in that context. --- Pretty good price! Very solidly built. I was pretty impressed by this -- especially considering the price. --- There are two 'led-type' indicator 'scales'. The first one indicates which string it is analyzing, and the second one indicates whether your string is tuned too high or too low. You then adjust the tension of your strings accordingly. The clamp holds the tuner securely to the guitar head, yet the dense rubber pads on the clamps prevent any damage to the guitar. Also, the unit swivels freely on its clamp, so that you can orient it properly --- depending on if you are left-handed or right-handed.

Cons: This is not really a con, just a caution about tuning. I previously used an analog tuner, which allowed me to adjust the tension of my guitar strings 'dynamically' --- that is, as I was plucking the string. (The needle of the analogue gauge would move to the centre when the tuning was right.) However, this tuner doesn't seem to work that way --- or, at least, it did not work that way for me. Instead, for proper tuning results, it was necessary for me to muffle the string and wait for the tuner to 'zero' or 'reset' before adjusting the tension and testing the string again. So, it takes a bit longer to tune the guitar.

Other: I'm pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Good price! Good design and Solid build. Felt pads on the outer guitar metal 'clips helped prevent damage to the outer guitar surface. Seems to work okay!

Cons: Not really a 'con', but some advice about a difficult with installation. I used this on an old classical guitar, and though the size of the pickup unit was suitable for installing, the metal clips were too close together. So, I had to spread them apart slightly to be able to fit it on my guitar. Since this works on a classical guitar with nylon strings, the pickup must not be magnetic --- but, most likely a single microphone in the unit. I'm just a beginner, and I'm really interested in just having a bit of fun with it for now --- so that's not a problem for me. But, it might make a difference for somebody wanting to get professional quality sound in a formal performance setting.

Other: Check out the reviews of more experienced guitar players regard sound quality, before making your decision on whether this is suitable for your needs.

Pros: its great, it was shipped without a problem, and I cant believe the sound I'm getting with this mic. Its pretty clean, and nice. Its not professional but It will be useful.

Cons: The plug at the end seems like those one that whit a lot of use it will start to crack up inside and get some funky noise.

Other: Great, give it a try for 7 usd is good appliance to have.

Cons: - Sometimes difficult to put in, but depends of the guitar - Had some problems connecting with my computer, but I think is my big-to-small plug adapter - Some parts of the pickup seem cheap, like parts of a plastic toy, yet works well

Pros: It is very good product!
It is well made, not some plastic, but feels very solid. It is also heavier than I expected but it doesnt matter. Sound coming out in my combo - is very clear, enough loud, and it is perfectly sensitive. Also the wire is very long - that might be needed sometimes. Awesome product!

Cons: No cons i can think of.

Other: Great product. Really! If you have accoustic guitar and need pickup, get it. For the price - you will not find a better one :)

Pros: I bought this just thinking that I would put it in my case for a just in case moment (if I needed it I would have it.) I really didnt expect the quality of the sound and the craftsmanship to be much.. WOW I was surprised. this sounds awesome. I have looked at other pickups and they were in the $50 range. This is going to work great for me. I am going to order another on just in case this one gets lost or honestly just to give away. If you are looking for a pickup with bright sounds and cheap cost I suggest this one.

Pros: Great sound, not glassy, distorted, or unbalanced. Solid build, incredibly easy to install, and at least as good as a $50 pickup. I'm really impressed. Even through a standard amp, it doesn't have that awful electric-acoustic tone. (Note: I use medium-gauge strings.)

Cons: Doesn't come with a carrying case? Not a big deal, because it's solid metal.

Pros: I didn't expect this pickup to be so good. The main advantage of the product is really great sound. Also, the device is rather durable and of good quality. It is easily fastened on the guitar. It is the best way to easily transforn your acoustic guitar into electric. And finally the good price.

Cons: Wish the package were stronger. Thin cardboard was crushed during the transportation.

Other: I advise it to either amateurs or professional musicians. Everyone will have a pleasure of using this product.

Pros: This is universal pickup is easy to attach, the housing feels very solid and the cable is of good quality. It looks realistic.

Cons: The device is fitted with a microphone, which I tested by blowing over the holes. When attached to my amplifier I have to play carefully to prevent feedback.

Other: For some experiments and to amplify an acoustic guitar slightly, this thing is suitable. Be careful with high volumes though. For this price it is not too bad.
