Pros: Soft rubber, good Velcro, excellent design, fit most of the penlite (AA) flash lights.
Will thighten very well, and does not slip due to the rubber.
Buckle is made of heavy pleastic, doesn't look like it will break next 10 years !
didn't drop off when using my mountainbike offroad.
easy to mount and unmount. usable on several bikes, so you don't have to buy separate lights for each bike

    Cons: NONE ?
cannot think of one, maybe some other colours in the future

Other: Very cheap, does the job where it is made and designed for.
Buy it, and some for jor friends
    they'll like it !!!!!!
I use more on my bike steer, for extra light in dark nights when using the Mountainbike

  • Surprisingly simple and good

Pros: Low Cost. Flexible flashlight and handlebar sizing. Good grip, non-sliding Better than the velcro strap type holders.

Cons: Perhaps not as positive grip on handlebars as the screw tensioned devises.

Other: Good, simple, solid, flexible. Definately worth the money and should work for most applications with today's lightweight flashlights. If you have a heavy MagLight or other mass-heavy flashlight, you should consider a bolt tensioned holder rather than the rubber or velcro belted types like this one. Still, for most applications, this is a good low-cost solution. Get a bunch and have them for spares.

  • Simplie the best mount

Pros: I use this mount on my cycle, it fits perfectly to my steer and the Trustfire lite i own. Even when i'm on a 'bad road' it stays the way i mounted it (so the lite is not going up or down) Quality is quiet good, the elastic rubber helps to stay on it's place when you are on a bad road.

Cons: The straps are a be bit long, but i don't really think this is a huge problem..

Other: Perfect for fitting your flashlight on your bike, buy it! You wont be disappointed!

Pros: Wonderful item to ever be invented to attach any flashlight to your bike's handlebar! Can use multiple or several of these at once! I use it with the many CREE LED flashlights I've purchased from DX. Purchased an authentic version of this for $8-9 and these are just as good at such a better price, I picked up three of these to use for me and my friends!

    Cons: none

Other: If you are a biker and want to attach a flashlight to your handlebar, buy this!

Pros: Soft material allows for self-adjustment and firm grip on the bicycle frame.
Also slightly absorb shocks, which is always nice.

Cons: One piece of plastic broke when I was strongly thightening the strap. (This piece is the ring.) Could be replaced, but still a bit disapointing.

Other: Buy a few in advance, you never know when you or your firends will need to attach something to your / their bike.

  • Nice mount

Pros: Soft rubber mount allows it to fit larger or smaller bars. The hook and loop aka velco is very strong. It fits my ultrafire c3 excellent. The straps are long enough to fit large lights and can be cut once you figure out what size it needs to be because they are so long, it doesn't matter but is just a minor annoyance.

Cons: None that I can think of. The rubber could be slightly stickier so that it would grip even better on the bars.

Other: For the price and occasional use its a good mount and should last a while and even take some abuse.

Pros: Made of a soft rubber that easyly adapts to a lot of diferent diameters and shapes. Easy to install and you can put in many diferent places.

Cons: The rubber is too soft and I had to put one strap to stop shaking the lamp. Also I'm having problems to make it stand in the right position when using it in the horizontal position. Maybe it can be caused by the wheight of the Trustfire P7 F15.

Other: It's a good solution for the price that you are paying for. Certanily if you are thinking of making one by yourself this one will be much more cheaper and will work better than yours.

Pros: a simple design that works just as well as more expensive examples. soft rubber molds well to handlebar and a small (3 AAA) flashlight. the velcro closure allows for a variety of sizes of bars and lights. i have not seen the mount slip during street riding. easy enough to add another light with this mount to the other side of the bicycle neck to increase your forward visibility.

Cons: my guess is it would not be the most secure for trail riding tho.

Other: cheap and it works well. not a big deal if it gets stolen.

Pros: Great for attaching torches to things. I've modified mine to allow me to mount them on my climbing helmet. I have one on each side. The Velcro attaching is simple to use and secure. The plastic main body is a bit rough but nothing to worry about.

Cons: None so far. Its easy to use and perfect for using to mount a pair of torches to a helmet. much better than a strap mounted headtorch.

Other: If you want something to use to mount a torch to a handlebar, a helmet, a pole or pretty much anything else you can think of then you've found it right here.

  • Good value mount

posted by motolite on 04:33:38 G7T 14/07/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Fits any bicycle bar, just tighten the Velcro straps well.
Also a great fit for smaller flashlights.

Cons: The rubber is a little too soft, so that can lead to vibration of your torch when riding mountain bike trails(downhill). Not a problem on smoother roads/trails at all.
Not ideal for heavier/ longer flashlights, they may have too much movement.

Other: Best value mount for your money.
