Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how this works. It does what its designed for. Holds flash light great for night time riding.
Cons: None So far.
Other: Hey if you like Gadgets and you ride a bike JUST BUY IT!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This fits tightly on most handlebars and hold a variety of lights. I like it much better than the other mount DX sells since this one stays pointing forward.
Cons: Doesn't hold every flashlight. Can also give you a false sense of security since it holds some lights quite well, but can still let them slide out on large bumps.
Other: Good overall mount that should work with at least one of your lights.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Used it mountain biking with a VB-16 flashlight. It seemed to hold the light in place just fine for 10 miles of night trail riding.
Cons: no positive retention feature for light. a very heavy bump could dislodge the flashlight. Plastic parts - may not last very long due to long term creep. Not sure if plastic grip will relax over time if flashlight left in place, thus reducing clamp load. A bolt on the top would help, too.
Other: for $2, it's a great all-purpose mount for a flashlight.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Inexpensive - Easy light mounting/removing - Shim for narrow handlebars is included.
Cons: - Flashlight must fall within a narrow range of diameters to be held securely.
Other: The mount provides a very easy method or inserting/removing a flashlight, but only a few flashlights will fit properly.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very easy to mount on bike handlebars, inexpensive, it holds itself and a torch firmly.
Cons: Torch grip isn't big enough, should be available in two sizes, plastic/rubber may become weaker due to streching after keeping a torch in it.
Other: Good for small torches AA or AAAs only not for Cs
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Best light mount for flashlights I've seen so far. It's very adaptive and will fit most handlebars out there. It comes with a rubber spacer if needed.
Cons: Mount itself fastens very well to the bars, but the clamp to the light isn't all that great. It could lose its grip over time. Not very secure light slot though. It's designed for quick release.
Other: Fairly good product. It's modifiable if you are concerned about the flashlight falling out.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap Easy and fast to use
Cons: Only some flashlights will fit
Other: This and sku.1255 in combination makes a better and cheaper bikelight than most others.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easy to mount.
Cons: Doesn't take small lights (CR123 size) very well.
Other: Cheap bicycle mount, for medium sized flashlights.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I bought one to see if it fit my Ultrafire Rebel Mini flashlight (SKU 3786) and it perfectly (and tightly) holds the head section of the light. I've bought 3 more for my other bikes to use the light as a commuter flasher. The mount is very firm where needed and flexible at the mount. I just added a washer on either side of the rubber where the bolt goes through for added durability, but I'm very happy with this and can't believe the price.
Cons: Gets a bit brittle in sub-zero weather, but hasn't broken yet!
Other: Great buy if it fits your light.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Holds the larger ie non aaa or aa lights well
Cons: No good for the smaller diameter lights
Other: Effective and cheap
