Universal Car Adapter for Laptops

Pros: compact and usefull fits most laptops

Cons: cables are not retractable

Other: get it if you want to work on your laptop in car

Pros: Works great, does what it advertises, and does it WELL!

Cons: Gets rather warm on higher draw laptops. FYI, rule of thumb, dont run anything more then 150 watt through your cig lighter outlet.

Other: Great product, and beats the heck out of the price at Best Buy and other stores charging 100+ for this.

Pros: Well this would be a great item if it actually worked for me.

Cons: I have a 15.4 inch asus laptop which has a 19v input. This charger stopped working within minutes the first time, broke completely. A new one was sent out and this one also melted within less than 2 minutes.

Other: If you have a high powered 19+volt input laptop or other device, stay away as you'll only melt and ruin the tip. If you have a gadget requiring less power perhaps it would work.

Pros: - very cheap! - works fine with older laptops - nice voltage range and selection of tips

- charging well the 15,4 " notebook.
-I am using it every day -Great buy - works great with my Fujitsu Siemens

- at 17" laptop the 80w it is not enough .

Other: you need to buy it buy buy!!! this, I can only recommend it for you.

Pros: Generally it does the job...almost.
Price is really low compared to everything else.
Has adjustable voltage and plenty of adapters.
Cable is long enough.
You can charge other stuff than your laptop.

Cons: Works well only when laptop is switched off.
Otherwise it smells like it's going to melt.
So it's rather an emergency than an entire trip solution.

Other: It's good to have it in your car. Especially if you have a 3g internet access. I can work( well not at 100%) from almost everywhere.

Pros: This device is useful for more than just laptop power supply- it can step UP voltage from DC input. Useful for charging circuts too. But it works great for laptops and is VERY small and portable, as long as your laptop is not mondo huge, it will not overload. I have used them many times on many laptops and none have been incompatible.

Cons: One of the units I have had suffered from a broken dc plug (cigarette end) which was easily changed with another cable. Also if left in the sunlight- the cable gets stiff and deteriorates (Texas sun is da-bomb).

Other: You can't build or find anything cheaper that does the job. And why just get one- get two! One for keeping in the car, and one for the laptop bag- why not, its cheap enough!

Pros: Very cheap compared to the ones sold here in Norway. The build quality is about the same as the ones available here at a cost of around $90.00!
It charged up my netbook really fast.

Cons: The sliding switch is confusing and mistakes can be indeed expensive. One has to count the clicks and because of the consequences, I double and triple check every time I use it. I never know if someone has fiddled with it while I was away from the car.
The + and - signs on the adapters are useless, being in the middle of nowhere.

Other: Overall I am quite happy with his product. These things are expensive here and been looking at them in the shops here but was not prepared to part with $90.00.

Pros: It is a great car adapter !! I have a HP Pavilion 15,4 inch with a input of 18,5 Volt. I set it on 18 volt on the charger and it works fine !! I turned it on , no problem at all !! It is a great buy for the price !

Cons: The only thing I dont't realy like is the button on the charger for setting the volts. But that isn't so bad. You do it on time and your ready.(but always look if it is still on the right volt,you never know who toucht your charger). And the reviews must be lower than 500 characters !!

Other: It is a nice charger for the price It realy is!! This is a must buy !!!

Pros: - It has an adjustable power switch. - It has some connectors with it. - It has a simple main connector for extending the connectors.

Cons: - No Acer Aspire One 150 connector, I still have to buy such connector. - Small power change button, but working good.

Other: Very handy gadget for on the road for a lot of notebooks, although not al types are represented... (fill up, fill up, fill up)
