Universal Car Airvent Holder for Garmin / TomTom - Black

Pros: Good plastic, strong construction. Can be used with air-vents of most cars.

Cons: Will not fit TomTom CarKit for iPhone/iPodTouch, and may be other TomTom devices, because TomTom uses ball with diameter of 16mm and this mount has ball with diameter of 17mm. Will try to use sandpaper to make the ball smaller to fit with my TomTom iPhone holder.

Other: Price is a bit too high for small peace of plastic.

Pros: Fit my Garmin Nuvi 1490 bracket so i didn't have to tweak the bearing at all. Plastic feels durable all around and is light (was a concern for some reason)

Cons: Not a lot of flex on the leg/perch (detachable), was worried about snapping the piece when moving it a knotch. Arms arent bad but could be annoying if vents are thicker (fit my 08 Mazda3 vents in the middle). Would have liked to see more of a hook end rather than triangle/teeth shape for the arms (doesnt feel secure initially)

Other: Price was meh but better than what some retail stores charge. You'll probably have to adjust how it sits/latches but a good alternative to the suction cup that comes with GPS'. My reason for buying: the suction cup bugs me. It blocks my field of vision or becomes too hard to reach. On the vent, it's arms reach, doesnt block my view of the road, and is closer for phone phone calls (the 1490 can act as a hands free for my phone)

Pros: Well made and useful tool. Very easy to assembly and to install. Material is of a good quality

Cons: Not at all.

Other: I recommend this holder for Garmin GPS and I pretty satisfied with the deal.
