  • Great for when it is really cold

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: The neoprene is keeping all wind out, while the holes allow a reasonable breathing. I use the mask when cycling at temperatures well below freezing point (minus 5C or colder). By keeping the wind chill out of your face, it makes a massive difference in how cold you feel while out in snow and ice. The firmness of the neoprene also maintains shape, so you wont have a sticky cloth against your face.

    Cons: It insulates so well that as soon as temparatures go up (or your excersize intensifies) it can become quite hot. Also it might accelerate fogging up of your glasses.

    Other: It is only 10-15 days a year cold enough to use it, but I am very glad I have it available. Surely recommend to anybody going out in cold conditions.
