  • It does what it is supposed to do

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: It works as it is supposed to, allowing you to use your locked iphone 5 with sim card of other carriers. The card slots have a very similar quality comparing to the original one. R-SIM card is easy to configurate (once you get the right tutorial)

    Cons: It doesn't comes with manual. The R-sim 7 website shows you the step-by-step of how to configure to work with your carrer. R-sim card is too fragile, you've got to be vary carefull Still expensive I had problems with caller identification and I'm still trying to figure it out why messages is messed up. I receive the message but it doesn't show on Messages...

    Other: It is expensive comparing to 4S R-sim, although it works very well and solve the problem of a locked iPhone 5.

    Pros: It works just like you expected to use. Just put the sim card and the board in your iPhone 4S/5 (I use an iPhone 4S iOS 6.1.1). You simply choose the carrier where your iPhone is locked on, and it magically works!

    Cons: You can only use an nano-sim (Not so easy for the iPhone 4S users) I solved it by using an other sim tray from the Grevey sim card. I also tried this with an iPhone 4 but won't work at all.

    Other: It's just an good option for users who have an locked iPhone 4S/5! I'm very happy about this!
