Universal US Travel Power Adapter Plug

Pros: It does convert the plugs from any plug to the USA/Canada Edison Plug. Build quality is satisfactory and it is a grounded 3 prong plug.

Cons: The holes are large. This is to accomadate the other plug types, however it is a safety concern with children, pets, moisture and/or dust.

Other: This is good as a temporary solution. Pernament use (particularily with a two pronged plug) is less advisable as foreign object may enter the small crevaces and possibly cause a fire or shock hazard.

Pros: This adapter works very well. I am from the United Kingdom. I am currently in Toronto, Canada and am using this adapter to charge my laptop, mobile phone, camera charger, shaver e.t.c. I have purchased 3 of these adapter & they are very useful for all UK visitors travelling to Canada & the United States. Dont forget that certain items that operate at 240V will require a step-down convertor. Cheers.

Fits every grounded wall socket and power extender in my house
EU plugs fit well, slim ungrounded kind a bit loosely, but still with a solid connection

Cons: Since it's small, smooth and tight, getting it out of some wall sockets is doable but a hassle

Pros: This adapter works very well. I am from Canada, I had bought these two years ago and bought some more again just recently. Great product, very well build. And very very cheap.

Cons: The ground connection is sometimes not available depending on the socket, but you can always break it off.

Pros: I now have 6 of these in total and have no complaints, other than last year, i didn't buy enough for everyone! I've bought 3 more this year now so we should have plenty. Bargain for what they are and what they do, they are of a good build quality and very cheap too, just make sure you order with plenty of time before you go away abroad due to DX shipping. They fit tight into the sockets, causing them to be solid and reduce the risk of electric shock or sparks or anything.

Other: Cheap and does the job, may be a bit awkward to pull out of the sockets, but their job is to be secure, right?

Pros: I bought this because I was going on a three week trip to the USA and it worked like a charm. I also bought some for my friends that were going with me. The adapter fit perfectly and all my devices were charging like they're supposed to.

Cons: Putting two of these in a double socket doesn't always work (they're too bulky to fit above each other).

Other: Awesome product that works perfectly.

Pros: It's cheap, well built and it works. All cables (european) I have connected to it were holding firmly in the adapter, better than in some other adapters I have, even though someone complained that it's quite loose.

Cons: When connecting european plug to the adapter, the third grounding/earthing contact is not connected, so I wouldn't use it with very high power devices which require the third grounding contact (even they would work but in case of some failure inside the device there is a risk of electric shock), but for regular devices it's fine.

Other: I can recommend this to anyone who wants to connect a non-US device to a US power outlet. Of course check the device voltage, since this is just a simple adapter, it does not change the voltage.
