Universal Viewfinder Eyecup for DSLR/SLR (with Adapters)

Pros: Pretty good value, easy to use.. as well as plenty of converters. Works well and eliminates all light as it should.

Cons: on the 350d it doesn't quite slide down all the way, so you get a bit of black blurred view at the top of the viewfinder, but it's not that bad. Can't rotate so not ideal of portrait mode. Also slides off the converter quite easily.

Other: Ok for the price. You could glue the eyecup to the supplier converter which would solve the looseness issue.

Pros: A great price (as usual) Comes with loads of adapters, which fit perfectly* The rubber isn't too soft so that it moves about, but its not too tough so it doesnt poke a hole in your face Works very well

Cons: *although the adapters fit perfectly, the main eyepiece, the plastic around it I should say, is made of a different material to the adapters, looks quite brittle and does not quite sit on the adapter plates properly and consequently falls off, to combat this I have glued the eyepiece plate to the adapter plate, nothing major but worth pointing out (hence the 4 points for built quality)
Needed a small skim of plastic trimming (nothing major - just a "peeling/scraping" of plastic to remove)

Other: A sensibly priced product, needs a bit of a tweek but its worth it

Pros: Does work as intended, properly fits my eye and area. Much better than tryign to squish my nose up against the d80's screen. The wide range of adapters is great because I can use it on two different cameras.

Cons: Eyepiece doesnt fully slide down on the adapter piece, so there is slight cover on the upper part.

Also, the eyepiece is held onto the adapter by nothing more than two pieces of plastic exherting pressure on the adapter piece - very easy for eyepiece to be removed (and lost)

Other: Dont expect a super fancy gadget, but for the price, its well worth it.

Pros: Makes it easier to shoot if you like the cup touching your eyelids.
Your camera looks way more professional.
Lots of adapters, probably for any common DSLR out there, fitted mine E-520 from Olympus just fine.

Cons: Doesn't look very strong, after a month in the camerabag this might break down.
Not the best build quality, but good for the price.
My eye doesn't like the design, eyeglasses make using this a bit hard.

Other: Makes it more comfortable to shoot if you like the design.

Pros: Comfortable on you eyes and good material made, compair the price from local store and thru here with free shipping it cost just half the price. worth the wait.

Cons: Looks more for right eyes as i'm a left eye shooter, a lot of different adapter.
other then that when the stock was out no notice stated and no e-mail received other then to contact them took me quite a while but worth the wait for value the money.

Other: Bottomline it's worth the investment espically as the price is not too pricey nor too cheap.
Get it and keep it in your bag.

Pros: - Provides good seal from light
- Priced well

Cons: - Eyepiece doesn't latch on properly to the canon adaptor... so it keeps falling off.
- Distance from viewfinder to eye is increased, and changes the diopter settings... may stuff up your eyesight if you're not careful
- Added distance means that the viewfinder is a lot smaller than it was with the original eyepiece
- Hard to adjust from left to right eye usage... probably better to just buy two eyecups for two people with two different dominant eyes

Other: If you're interested in getting one.. definitely just try it.. its not expensive anyway. Its good at first however it grows old when you keep putting it back on when it falls off.

Pros: * Cheap.
* Worth trying for the price.
* On the Sony A100 it fits without any of the adapters and wedges on tightly, no wobble or accidentally falling off.
* Build quality is OK and didnt have any problems with feeling like it wouldnt last.

Cons: * Didnt work well on my Alpha A100 as it covered the auto start sensors and is quite cramped looking through the view finder compared to the standard viewfinder.
* Rubber eye piece is quite hard and unfinished so not comfortable to use.

Other: If you have an A100 I'd give this a miss, but worth considering if your eyepiece has seen better days or is uncomfortable.

Pros: Do the job well and cost mostly nothing!
Could be turn from right to left if needed.

Cons: Does not make a bad photographer a good photographer ???

Other: Got a few in reserve. Fund it is a great product but you may need to get several one for other photographer.

Pros: The Universal Viewfinder Eyecup for DSLR/SLR (with Adapters) is a very nice accesory for your digital camera.
It has multiple adapter for Olympus, Leica, Nikon, Canon. It fits very well on camera and it's very easy to mount.

Cons: The inside ring is too little, and on my EOS 20D I don't see the viewfinder 100%.
The quality of the plastic adapters and of the rubber eyecup doesn't feel too trustfull. But, what can I say? At this price

Other: Do not buy only one of these. It's worth the money...

Pros: I can't really think to any pros, as it doesn't fit properly on my Canon 450D, so i couldn't really use it.

Cons: On My Canon 450D it fit badly with gapes between the socket and the adapter. i hope it fits properly on the other cameras, the rubber is quite hard and is not smooth, so it's quite uncomfortable to use. It also cover part of the camera view finder, it result in a partial obscured view of the image, but it may be different on other cameras with other adapters. It's quite expensive if you see the quality.
The eye cup has also weak socket for the adapters, it may broke easily.

Other: I shouldn't buy it. I am thinking to sale on ebay to get the money back.
