Universal Waterproof White 5-LED 800-Lumen Daytime Running Fog Lights for Car (Pair)

Pros: Received units today, VERY well made I must say, The units are metal with glass fronts and are E marked.
The rear metal is also shaped to be a heatsink for the LED's.
The front glass seems to be pretty thick and they seem to be well sealed. I have fitted to the car so we will see if they leak at all.
The wiring connectors are all waterproof with seals where the loom attaches to the lights.
MAN are these bright!! Ill have to see how they perform tonight but they could light up the whole of my garage off test battery no problems! I know they are only supposed to be daylight running lights but angled properly they will act as very good fill in lights.

Cons: The brackets are a PITA to fit if you have one edge of the light up against something. You screw the brackets in then screw the lights to the brackets. I suppose you could use sticky pads but I dont trust them, would rather have a permanent fixing.

Other: Pretty good lights, VERY bright and well made for the price.

Pros: The light is Very bright similar to the new Mercedes E class. Looks like a total of 800 Lumen compared to a 900 Lumen diode. Seems to be very qood quality. Easy to mount except the cableconnector.

Cons: Adjustment screws may be difficult to reach. The cable connectors are large and may be difficult to mount. I changed the connectors to avoid drilling holes in the car.

Other: I tried two differnt sets of DRL before I bought this set. Compared with the others this is Quality DRL for little money. I will reccomend this set rather than a cheap 80 - 200 Lumen set.

Pros: Easy to install. Tested it on the German highway doing 130MpH and it didn't move. Very bright white light but not disturbing the upcoming traffic. Simular to Audi and Mercedes DRL. The small size and curbed form is ideal to fit under the bumper. Bright even during the day = OEM quality.

Cons: NONE

Other: If you're looking for the European style Daytime Running Light then this is it. I've been driving it for over a week and people have been asking me if it's originally fitted or where I got it.

Pros: Wide angle - very important for safety.
Color temperature is real white (neither bluish nor yellowish) just like they use on new vehicles.
The difference between sku.45608 and sku.28778 (13 5050 leds) is very noticeable

Cons: There's no user manual.
The pictures on the box say that item is waterproof but nevertheless owner shouldn't wash it in some ways (by high pressure water washer etc).
Wires are isolated not good at both ends: near the lamp and near the connector.

Other: Very useful device: consumes 10 times less power than headlights but makes the driving much more save.

Pros: Very bright light of white color, the compact sizes, very low power consumption, the good price for excellent quality. Reliable metal fastening, There is no sense to compare to cheaper lamps for 20$. These are different things.

Cons: Not so clear scheme of connection. Quality of assemblage the excellent.

Other: I recommend to use as day running fires. An excellent choice. I will order for the friends! At me in the country it is obligatory to turn on the light on the car. With these lamps I save fuel and I do not forget them to include (they join automatically).

Pros: Nice solution for DRL installation. Little DIY works. It gives a plenty of light, some times it even looks to give too much light, for example, when overcast.
Avarage consumption is around 0,8A at 12V. Note that the driver will maintain same brightness if you supply from 7 to 17 volts!
Quality is better than most of LED devices on this site. DRL themselves are hravy and designed to effectively dessiminate heat from LED (DRL keep cold after hours of work).

Cons: No actual cons.
The price for this product is justified as trully powerful LEDs cost what they cost a lot. Thus it is impossible to buy a really good DRL for less then 50 bucks (branded ones like Philips cost x2..4 times more and have 4 LEDs instead of 5 LEDs in this product).

Other: Goog DRL. Ease to install, though most likely you will to drill your bumper.

Pros: - Very bright LEDs, is well seen the car during the day even on a sunny day!
- Easy to install, very well included in the model exterior of my car!

Cons: - in the chain itself DRL fuse no, you must install an additional fuse wire before control box!
- on my machine at failure of a fuse lights Headlamp stopped working DRL control box!!! Now when you turn Headlamp does not turn off automatically DRL!!

Other: - equipment necessary for safety on the road

Pros: - Very bright LEDs, is well seen the car during the day even on a sunny day!
- Easy to install, very well included in the model exterior of my car.

Cons: - in the chain itself DRL fuse no, you must install an additional fuse wire before control box!
- on my machine at failure of a fuse lights Headlamp stopped working DRL control box!!!

Pros: Very bright and shiny, even in sunlight it is very visible. As a substitute for driving lights (Here in Norway we have to use the lights on the car all day long..) they work excellent.

Cons: I am not too impressed with the quality of the pair, and it was also a bit tricky to fit them into the front of my Renault Laguna, but after some work and hassle I got them mounted.

Other: All in all I am satisfied, but as always the price could be lower. Good choice!

Pros: First of all, this LEDs are heavy, that means only one thing - very good thermal dissipation, which is indeed the major factor telling us the lifespan of LEDs. It is also sturdy enough to withstand hard hits from the road (stones etc.). The price is the highest among other driving lights on dx, but still they are about 3 times cheaper than almost the same looking Phillips LED lights, which cost about 120 euros in my country! I still didnt find time to test its waterproofness and i hope they dont leak inside. That could be a problem when driving fast in rainy day or when snow falls on LEDs, then melts on them, which can surelly bring some leaks inside. The wires that go inside LEDs, are isolated with rubber where they meat plastic housing, which is good. And for the end - they shine brightly - TOP CLASS for sure. I was even wondering about using them in my cargospace as light source, as they are indeed bright!

Cons: Not any cons. The major con could be waterproofness, but as i said, i didnt test it yet and i hope it dones leak! The place where wires enter the plastic housing is covered with rubber, so i think leaking here is out of the question.
