What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: Got this thing in mail today. -It supports all Wifi standards 802.11 b/g/n. -Signal strength is good enough. -Build quality is just great -It looks pretty good -Comes with mini CD which contains drivers.
Cons: -Could be smaller -Installed Ralink software first as it told me to do so in installation guide. It couldn't detect adapter. So I just uninstalled it and installed Realtek's software which wasn't stated at installation guide. Disregard installation guide I guess. Look around CD and you will find it. -Would be pretty cool if it was plug and play, installation of drivers automatically right from adapter's flash. (No there is no flash memory in adapter, it would be cool if it had tho)
Other: Overall great adapter, worth getting.

Pros: It is a really small WiFi-N stick with a nice range. Using 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 works out of the box without any drivers. It also works on Linux (x64) and can be put into monitor mode flawlessly
Cons: The range is what is expected from a USB stick
It gets hot quickly. I didn't have any problem yet
Other: Dirt cheap wifi-n card, buy it if you want some extra speed on a wifi connection (against a wifi-n router ofc ;)

Pros: Worked right away on Ubuntu 10.10. Plug and play, really.
I didn't have to bother with the little CD with drivers. I have no idea how well it does with Windoze, and I don't really care :)
Cons: None I can think of (yet :)
The parcel took ages to arrive in Canada and spent a few days in customs after it did, but that's got nothing to do with DX,
Other: Buy. Make sure you place the order well in advance of when you absolutley must have it. Pray the postal workers are not going to strike :))

Pros: After finally getting the driver installed from the CD the product worked great!
Cons: Had to go to the Folder on the CD where the driver was located for WinXP. Had to RIGHT-CLICK and open that Folder, then double click on the file. Installation worked fine then. The SETUP on the CD is NOT for this product. Do not use the SETUP.EXE on the CD as in the paper instructions. Use the INSTALL PATH as shown on the sticker on the CD wrapper and go to the driver for the RT3070 as stated on the sticker on the CD wrapper. Then everything will work fine.
Other: I would recommend this product. But if you are a true novice and new to installing network cards and adapters, you will have some trouble following the installation guide.

Pros: Plug and play, on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit took less than a minute from plugging in to it working fully. Connects every time automatically and hasn't lost a connection yet.
Cons: When it comes to the product I haven't found any yet, how ever postage was a bit slow to little New Zealand.
Other: For price this is an amazing quality product. There is no point paying more for similar item as this does the job very well.

Pros: Cheap USB dongle
Works in Windows 7 x64 and Backtrack Linux 5 R1 but couldn't get it to work in SliTaz Cooking
Cons: Build quality is not very good
Signal is npt very good, but is what I was expecting from an USB device
Other: This device worked fine to me using a Freebox v6, but for some strange reason I couldn't get it to connect to my FreeWifi. I recommand this device is you need a cheap USB dongle

Pros: Bought this to upgrade an old laptop running Linux. Works like a charm. No setup, no nothing. Just turned off the onboard wifi (802.11b) and this little USB dongle took pover and I got improved reception and speed.
Cons: Its a bit long and if you're moving the laptop around it can be hard not to bump the dongle into things. Mine has become a little bent at the base - but still operates perfectly.
Other: I would recommend this to others without hesitation!

Pros: With the Ralink utility, you can create a wireless network and/or hot-spot with this.
Strong signal at least within 60 feet in radius.
Work constantly, non-stop 24/7 tested for a week, no problem.
Price is good.
Build and look is not bad
Cons: It could just be my own xp-pc config, it causes memory conflict and RaLink utility fails to start. But when it starts, it works good.
Other: Recommended for usefulness, good price. As I don't have a wireless router at my house, I connect this adapter to my lan pc and set it as an access point so that all my wireless gadgets can connect wirelessly. Now, all my wireless devices can go wifi. Hooray!!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: works for very long time without losing the signal appears to be made ??of good quality material does not heat it have a good range come with a cd for instalation come in the same color as the photos
Cons: i had a little problem with the installation but not that hard the cd in pack is useless
Other: is a great adapter for the price if you need one wireless adpter you can buy this one without fear!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's cheap, based on Ralink 3370L chipset. In my case it loaded files on speed up to 7MB/s (56Mbit/s) when speed connection was 72.2Mbit/s when I was near router. Looks good and small, remind of USB flash dongles
Cons: Cheap plastic, easy to open. It has a short antenna, which is a part of board, so it has a low sensitivity and speed may be vary. One wall and you connected on 36Mbit/s.
Other: If your laptop still has 802.11b adapter - buy this one, or better change internal network card to a new one.
