Cons: Write transfer rate is less than expected, about 11Mb/s compared with read rate 38Mb/s not really con, just mind the price, build quality is quite low, especially controller to case mount. metal case is thin enough to be squeezed by your fingertips. but again - lightweight is pro Also keep in mind that it is better use with 320GB hard drives max, 500Gb might not work stable due to more current consumption.

Other: very cheap not top product and if you need simple compact lightweight case or SATA-USB controller this is it.
