USB 2.0 3.5" SATA/IDE HDD Enclosure with Stand - Silver

Pros: suprizingly, the box seems built very well, (more than i expected for this price) and it worked on the 1st time lick a charm.
very recommanded (more than the small USB adaptors kits that i had in the past).

Cons: didnt find yet, thus i'm not working with this item a lot (once a week or so)

Other: very nice product, looks and feels very good. I believe I did a good deal here...

Pros: Great quality, better than I expected.
Very easy to fit HDD in it and works very well.
Great feature is that after some time of inactivity, enclosure put HDD into sleep mode automaticly.
As soon as you click on it in finder/explorer it wakes up.
I use it with my iMac and it works great from first try.
It also work with 2 TB Seagate like a charm.

Cons: Didn´t find any at this moment

Other: Overall, if you looking for external HDD enclosure to use with Mac, this is beautiful, very well built and great working enclosure for this price.

Pros: -Very very good build quality
-The box made out of metal
-Has a really nice power switch
-Plug and play
-Supports BOTH SATA AND IDE hard drives
-Comes in really nice box
-Everything needed is included (a various sort of sata cables, a screwdriver and screws for the hdd)
-The PC quickly recognizes it when you turn it on
-Really nice high quality translucent plastic stand included with rubber pads. A really nice addition.

Cons: -A bit flimsy USB-B connector, but works just fine
-A bit bright blue power LED
-The included power supply had US, so i had to spend another dollar for US-EU plug adaptor.
-The metal casings edges were a bit sharp, so i filed them down my my swiss army knifes nail file, took a few minutes to do it, so not really a con.

Other: Best enclosure for IDE hard drives here on Dealextreme. Supports SATA too, so it's a good investment for the future.

Pros: simple to use. fast to transfer files - most of the times. relatively cheap. reliable. hard aluminum case. looks good near metal or wood. cabling with a good length. shipped fast.

Cons: none so far. it's not the most beatiful thing on earth, but has its charm. the led annoys me sometimes.

Other: good product. would by again.

Pros: Sturdy Nice design ventilated Solid Good connection cables and points, no fuss !

Cons: None that I can think of. Might have issues with some non standard types of disc's and cables, but this baby handles it all very well.

Other: Very nice buy ! The price is good for this kind of enclosure, and it is far below any other supplier I use.

Pros: - Excellent build quality and nice design. The box is built in aluminum and it is very easy to fit HDD. - Works fine in Win7 64-bits (PnP - found the drive immediately). - Fast to transfer files - It has a convenient power on/off switch.

Cons: None so far... in three days.

Other: Worth purchasing: Good value, handy and with a nice design
