Pros: Price. Travelstar drive fits perfectly. Aluminum case. Comes with cable and leatherette case. Even comes with a screwdriver for the case screws.

Cons: Included cable is a bit short but the price more than makes up for this.

Pros: fits IBM travelstar like a glove, easy to install and use.Limited to two USB ports to run however it keeps the portability level high as you don't need a power adapter to carry around. Leatherette sleeve is plain yet effective. For most OS no need for drivers. Plug and play.

Cons: I would generally think the USB cable could be a little longer but at this price you can't complain.

Other: you can't go wrong for the price, it performs and looks far more expensive than it is...not to mention it comes with its own screw driver for assembly

Pros: Looks nice, very good price, drives fit snugly as they should, comes with cable and screws. Red light blinks to let you know there is power and activity. Very nice that it comes with a screwdriver! Also, the little faux-leather sleeve it comes with looks great. Great that it is self-powered without AC Adapter, very convenient.

Cons: The speed of this thing..... it's not going to rock your world. But really, if you're concerned about performance you should know better than to hook old IDE drives up to your USB port...

Pros: Works as expected, just put hard drive in secured with enclosed screwdriver, screws were enclosed too. plug into my notebook and i can access it as any other usb mass storage piece of hardware

Cons: same usb connectors on both ends are realy wierd, usb mini on the enclosure wold be mus more appropriate

Other: I like it and had bougt another one for sata drive it is bit more expensive, but still affordable

Pros: - Metallic casing.
- Even an idiot could assemble this. You just put the drive to the case, and put the lid back on, then 2 screws, and done.
- Comes with an fake-leather sleeve, that I keep on always, since it doesn't block the USB port, makes it appear more professional.
- Retail packaging.
- A free screwdriver included.
- 2-headed USB cable, probably to get power from low-powered USB ports.

Cons: - The leather sleeve is starting to break down from the corner, I probably should staple it or something.

Other: - Cheap and good.

Pros: Esta caja es super barata , extremadamente sencilla de montar y funciona a la perfección. No hay nada que perder por ese precio.

Cons: El material plástico del que esta hecho (no el aluminio de la caja, que es excelente)no tiene gran robustez (tipico aparato de los veinte duros). Hay que forzar un poco la pieza de plástico para que entre correctamente.

Other: Si necesitas una caja para HD de portatil (si por ejemplo has cambiado el de tu ordenador y no sabes que hacer con el) no dudes en comprarlo.

Pros: - Looks decent
- The cable is just the right length
- Possible to hook up with two usb ports if your old computer doesn't give enough power on one.
- Heat is not an issue - had my drive copying files for 4 hours and the temp. was not very high.
- Small screwdriver included

Cons: - There was no hole on one of the sides. Therefore i could just use one of the screws.

Other: Not the greatest quality, but it works as it should.

Pros: This 2.5" metallic HDD enclosure is really very cheap. Comes with a screw-driver and a leather-like case, USB cable -with 2 heads for drawing extra power when one USB bus cannot provide sufficient power-. Accepts 2.5" Parallel ATA IDE hard drives. Also it does not get hot during operation.

Cons: No, actually.

Other: If you have a 2.5" Parallel ATA IDE hard drive fooling around, buy this item and you will be happy to make an old friend work again.
