USB 2.0 Laptop Cooling Pad with Fan Speed Controller

Pros: -Aluminium (not cheap plastic!)
-Quiet
-It's not "the" definitive solution, but it helps to keep the laptop temperature a bit lower than before (my case: before 60º, now 54º -averages)

Cons: -Hub drains a lot of mAs from the average laptop. Certain gadgets won't work if plugged in the built-in hub (f.e. certain 2.5" harddisks)
-It gets quite hot
-Too small: for a 15" laptop is 2,5" (6cm) too short!
-Annoying blue led (on the side) that cannot be turned off when the pad is on.

Other: A cheaper alternative to other expensive branded pads (Zalman, Thermolite, etc.)... but at a cost I suppose.

Pros: Solid construction. The aluminum, even after being under a laptop, and even turned off always feel cool. It disperses the heat with ease.

Cons: One of the fans wasn't working when I got it. I had to take it apart and order a replacement fan. I just bought another fan since getting the whole thing replace wasn't worth it.

Other: Worth the price given the quality aluminum even if one of the fans wasn't working. Even with one my temp stays stable.
