What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: I have tested this one on AMD Athlon64 6400+ and it works as expected. This adapter is not plug-and-play and requires driver installation prior to plugging in the device. I have two screens already and wanted to connect my TV to watch movies, so this device appears as third screen, and it supports HDMI audio out as well. My tv only supports 720p and picture quality was good, I didn't notice any artefacts or frame drops. It is also powered via USB bus which is great!
Cons: A little bit pricey, but still a good product overall.
Other: After you install drivers it becomes very easy to connect third monitor (or TV) - just plugin your adapter to HDMI, then to USB2.0 - voila it works!
It is said that there are drivers for Linux - I haven't tested them yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't be that easy to use it as in Windows.

Pros: In a single package you got video and audio through HDMI. The install process is swift and clean. As described on a previous review this does require drivers installation which was fast and easy on Windows XP and Vista. The printed manual also provides links for external references for MAC OS and Linux (I did not test them).
Cons: * It does require a good processor to handle the load if high resolutions are expected to be used. Was originally tested on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8600 with Windows XP and it couldn't handle the load for Full HD. * A bit pricy.
Other: Definitely a good solution for additional screens and/or notebooks without HDMI output. Keep in mind the processor speed of your device so you don't have a bottleneck.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very easy to install. Sound Embeded in HDMI. Very small. Good design.
Cons: I didn't get no one until now.
Other: Recomend to all that want a easy devito presentations or to enterteinment.
