USB 2.0 SD/MMC/TF/M2 Memory Card Reader - Yellow + White (Max. 32GB)

Pros: The item received is just like in the pictures on the site. This device works properly and using a class 4 micro SD I achieved the speed of 5MB/s for writing and the speed on 12MB/s for reading. One good thing is that it is cap less and you are no longer forced to look after cap not to lose it. The protection cap rotation is limited only to some position due to some small holes and that is a good thing because the protection cap remain in the position you choose it to be.

Cons: Not really a con but the plastic looks cheap. The whole item is a little bit too thick so you cannot use the usb port aside.

Other: A good product with a fair quality/price ratio.

Pros: This reader is very solidly built for its miniscule size. I am using it with SD cards on a XPsystem without problems. It's very affordable.

Cons: The SD card protrudes from the end of the reader rather than having a spring-loaded full insertion system (but I fully accept that for some buyers that would count as a plus rather than a minus You do not get to choose which colour you get - mine is yellow, which would actually have been my last choice

Other: Many of the card readers on DX are poorly rated for flimsiness and indifferent build quality. IMHO that does not apply to this one.

Pros: Small, easily carried or packed away. Supports most popular memory cards. Handles cards up to 32GB. Worked with a Class 10 32GB SD card on my Linux operating system. Swivel cover that protects USB plug has a small hole for a lanyard. Swivel cover can be removed - gently.

Cons: Doesn't accommodate larger dimension CF cards. The yellow swivel casing is made of a hard brittle plastic that just might break if dropped, and the lanyard attachment point on it isn't very robust.

Other: A small, capable and very handy card reader.
