USB 2.0 SDHC SD/DV(RS MMC)/MMC Card Reader (Black)

Pros: Compact size. Feels sturdy.

Cons: Product is severely mislabeled! Despite SDHC markings on both packaging and device, it does not even show up as a USB device with an SDHC card. It does not support SD hotplug - must be disconnected on USB side to change cards. Despite packaging claims, no activity light.

Other: I would not recommend this device. Far too open to mistakes, for instance I needed it for an SDHC card for which it does not work at all.

Pros: -Very inexpensive. -Recognized immediately by Windows with snappy 7-10MBPS transfer speeds not bad for an SD card. -Simple plug and play design with good SD slot placement. -Excellent for a keyring or to have around for when you need to manage an SD card but have no convenient readers around.

Cons: -USB connector is thin and will plug in the incorrect way as easily as the correct way. -Cap is plastic and easily removable, so somewhat easily lost. -Does not support SDHC as package claims. -Does not have activity LED as package claims. -Cheap, but reasonably thick plastic build is only good enough to hold up to a pocket with electronics.

Other: If all you need is a way to connect SD cards in to a PC when you need to, and don't want to spend a few extra dollars for a fully-featured USB card reader, this is a great option. If, however, you want to use it often, you're better off investing in a higher quality device with a more solid build, more compatibility and a better USB connector.

Pros: Very very cheap item, works fast, cap is not loose, compact-even smaller than a key!
even reads microsd (with SD adapter), i did not check the other card, easy to use,
if you have spare SD card it becomes to MEMORY STICK :D

Cons: SD slot is open and may full with dust..
my came with a little smeared picture but it is not so important

Cons: I don't find any cons! I've found this gadget very practical and useful. Maybe the SD slot may full with dust since it's open... could have a cover

Pros: Cheap, small and very easy to use. Windows XP and Windows 7 immediately recognised the card read without extra drivers. Works fine with high capacity cards (SDHC)

Cons: No dust/dirt protection for the SD card slot, so dirt might be collected over time

Other: Good deal and definately something I can recommend.

Pros: Looks good. Build is solid. Cap fits snugly and does not wiggle about. It plugs in and reads my SD card fast, with no hassle. Nice and small, and fits practically anywhere you'd like to put it. A really good buy, even for the price alone.

Cons: None that I can think of a the moment. We'll see as time goes by, but for now, I am happy with this buy.

Other: A good buy. Price is excellent. Build is good. Works as it should.

Pros: Easy to use, works under xp. Tried with micro and standard sd/sdhc cards between 1gb and 8 gb, worked without any problems. (For the micr sd I had to use an adapter) Speed is reasonable, have one other different make reader which is much slower.

Cons: On package it says LED activity light, no light on product. Card slot is open, can collect dirt, but what can one expect for such low price. From the description it is not obvious that one has to use an adapter for the micro sd/sdhc cards.
