  • Have problems with wifi.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: The box is made of metal. Good quality. PCB looks ok. The program is easy to use. USB supports is good. Fast and stable transfer of data from usb-disks. If you have a new wifi-router it may work over wifi. Easy installation of program.

    Cons: Not working if the pc is connected by wifi. DHCP is not working. Have to use fixed-ip. The wifi-routers do not see the hub. It has no setting for default gateway. Have to use cable.

    Other: I should use it on my laptop connetcted by wifi, but it did not work. Have to use a cable. Perhaps the unit i received has an error. On my new broadband router the hub is working but on my standard d-link wifi-ruters it does not.
