USB 3.5" Plasma Ball

Pros: If you've ever liked plasma balls this will make you fall in love. The color of the plasma is amazing and it works flawlessly. I first thought this item was only for a USB port but it comes with an AC adapter witch would be an extra added bonus. I'm powering this with http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3205 so it's a portable plasma ball. Make sure to get 3+ because these will make great gifts!

Cons: Mine came with a NASTY smudge of what seems like glue/adhesive on the side of the glass and I cannot seem to remove it. Doesn't bother me too much though.

Other: Great for gifts for any occasion or if you're a USB gadget nut this will make you happy.

Pros: Awesome plasma ball. Nice size for a desk or nightstand.

Pros: Perfect size for a USB item. Small enough to be portable entertainment if need be, yet large enough that it makes you amazed a USB port could do so much. Very clean fit/finish. Comes with AC adapter as well!

Cons: - The PS-made base appears fragile (but one shouldn't throw this thing around anyway) - Audible booster circuit - Would be nice to have a mini-USB interface at the base - Mine didn't work without a driver (just kidding)

Cons: - When I cover the entire ball with 2 hands I experienced a slight shock (bit more than a normal static shock) - Makes a slight buzzing noise when turned on

Cons: -Best used in a dark room -*Adapter is not suitable for AU/NZ out of the box. It will require another "travel" adapter if you want to use the AC pwr in AU/NZ.

Other: A good novelty item that obviously works best in a dark room. For those who love USB gadgets I'd highly recommend it.

Pros: A VERY neat toy! Nice plasma effect. Can operate off USB or AC adapter. AC adapter can be used to charge other USB charging devices.

Cons: Sometimes doesn't power on, but just unplug and plug it back in. A bit dim in regular light

Other: I placed this ball ontop my computer so it's always on while my machine is on. It looks fantastic.. and makes my room look like a borg cube. Great price!
