USB/4*AA Powered Sound Activated Blue Light Plasma Lamp

Pros: Pretty cool effects. It comes with USB so you can use the SKU 28946 to power it instead of batteries (or even connect it to your computer USB port). Its heavy... looks like real glass disc and not plastic one.

Cons: nothing really. it works as described and differently from other 'plasma' you dont get shock if you touch it without shoes.

Other: I bought one to use at office, but my son got it as it is really beautiful. Now I need to buy another one.

Pros: +Works like it should.
+Responds to sound and the USB cable means you can plug it into your computer.
+A fun toy

Cons: -Pretty small
-I don't know how good for your USB ports it is.
-The battery compartment at the back takes up a lot of space

Other: It's a fun little toy and cool to watch/play with.
Probably a bit expensive given how small it is. I wish it was twice the size but what can you do

Pros: It looks really cool, and always draws interest when people come near my desk. The build quality is excellent, as it is mostly a thick piece of glass. It is also quick visible in a well lit envirement (looks even cooler in the dark).

Cons: It a little pricey. It doesnt react very well to sound (requires a fairly loud volume) so I usually leave it on the always on mode. Not really the fault of this product, but if is close to a telephone, it creates a lot of static interference

Other: Its worth the few extra bucks for the cool factor

Pros: It has a really nice effect. When touching the lamp, the lightning follow your fingers. The lamp worked best with batteries.

Cons: The battery box behind the lamp is indeed on the huge side and could be smaller. It also where the build quality lack slightly but nothing to worry about. No huge cons with this product.

Other: I was happy with this purchase. Go get one!

Pros: This is a very nice gadget, it's similar to the plasma ball where the lightning sparks follow your fingers when you touch it.

Cons: The item arrived without the USB cable which should be included with it as per the item description, I contacted DX for a replacement but they took a long time to respond so i bought a replacement for and now i'm waiting for a partial refund as a compensation for it.

Other: This item works great and respond to sound if you use 4 alkaline batteries or direct 6V @500MA to power it, the item has an ok built quality over all.

Pros: Very good quality glass, is very good.
I like it. Responds well to touch and sound, is I expected of the product.

Cons: I have not found any cons to this product.They say it does not work very well with the usb for power, but for me it works fine.Also as I connect via USB cord is too short to put in a place away from the usb.

Other: It's a nice article, it looks great at night, draws much attention, you will not regret buying it.

Cons: — no sound sensitivity regulation — touch activation doesn't work — activates only from really loud sound — can be cheaper

Other: Good for decoration or may be for party. I'll use it in a decorative "plasma reactor" for a RPG stuff.

Pros: It's a flat plasma ball. It's lightning in plate form. IT'S CHAOS IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND and it looks really cool.

Cons: The battery cover doesn't fit very well. It takes a few seconds to start working when connecting via USB. The sound activation doesn't work too well; it might be possible to fix this by enlarging the microphone hole. I never use that feature because I'd rather it just stay on.

Other: This might be the best trip toy I own. It's so worth it.
