  • OK portable AA and AAA Charger

Pros: Nifty, cheap travel USB battery charger. Has a well fitted removable cap over the USB connector. Looks like a Fairly well made product. Has a low output for charging batteries, so as to not overcharge them easily.

Cons: Circuitry consists of 2 resistors, 1 LED , and 1 Diode PER BATTERY. No overcharge circuit. LEDs do not turn off when charge is complete.

NON-Regulated charging only! You can't just leave these plugged in overnight, as there is no voltage shut-off. Basically, you need to time the charges.

A bit large for some USB ports or hubs. If your ports are close together, this may not fit beside another plug.

Of three, one had a large paint flake coming off of the cap. I don't mind for this item, it is a tool for me to use. I'll take that one to work.

Other: If you have all the batteries you need, and just need a small portable charger, this is great! Just make sure you don't walk off and leave batteries charging unattended!

Pros: Nicely made it's not super well made but seems tough enough the cover for the USB slots on nice and secure. AA/AAA conversion is by flipping the upper contacts down which is cheaply done but nice and simple. Excellent price it would be even better if this had a charging curcuit.

Cons: No charging curcuit, well not a controlled one anyway on or off, so you have to time your charging.

Other: Good to have around when you need it.

Pros: Is very useful to have a usb battery charger, because working in the office, you nearly allways have a computer near, so for charging AAA and AA batteries, for mp3, wireless mouse...
Good for use with an external usb charger to have another 220V batt charger

Cons: In some usb ports (front ones in computers) the charger is a little bit big so it can not fit. Just use the back ports

Other: Very useful, tiny and resistant, godd value gadget

Pros: 1. Nice design. Build quality is very. Plastic looks not cheap.
    2. Charges at low current. It is good for low capacity batteries.
    3. Has 2 LED indicators
    4. Has cover for USB connector. So it
    protects from dust and damage.
    5. Decent Price. I can't find better deal.

Cons: 1. A little too big. Takes up to two USB ports.
    2. Slow charging current. Well i never saw high speed USB AA/AAA battery charger.
    3. Charge only 2 batteries.
    4. Only one color available.

Other: Very well build and very good priced USB AA/AAA charger. Build quality is very good so it looks very good. I thought it can't be good for that price but it is very good!!. Buy one if you need USB AA/AAA Charger.

Pros: A pretty decent charger for your double a and triple a batteries

Cons: Slow to charge, and you have to make sure you don't leave it charging too long because it doesn't have auto shutoff. Also, it's a little big so it might take up space of 2 usb ports, but so does everything, they make those things too close together.

Other: It's decent, buy it as a backup for your laptop.

  • Convenient Charger

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Able to charge Ni-MH and Ni-Cd AA and AAA batteries.
Fits into any USB port and stays in pretty sturdy.
The dust cap is a nice touch, and keeps the connector damage and dirt free when not in use.

Cons: No overcharge protection, so make sure you keep an eye on your batteries.
The device is fat, so it blocks nearby USB ports.

Other: The USB battery charger travels well, and can keep you juiced while on the move.
Build quality is pretty good. They look like clones of the ones available in retail stores. These are a really economical alternative to overpaying at the shop.

    Pros: - Perfect for travelling
    - It supports both AAA / AA (don't get confused, there is a little "toggle")
    - It really works :)
    - Has LED diodes to indicate charging
    - Has a cover of usb connector

Cons: - If your usb ports are placed side-to-side, it will take both ports (size)
    - Charging is relatively slow, but when you NEED to charge some bateries, it's very useful - and it's usb-powered, so we cannot expect wonders :)
    - Build quality looks cheap but it's not horrible

Other: - Great value for the price

Pros: - Charges both AA and AAA batteries
    - LEDS indicate whether or not the battery is completely charged yet
    - Has removable cover on top of the USB
    - It charges the batteries of my wireless mouse and keyboard.
    - Still works if you plug it into a USB to AC adapter
    - Works in laptops

    Cons: - Very bulky
I find that there is too much plastic on this charger that does not need to be there
    - Speed of charging

Other: This is a very good item and I will be buying more for family and friends. Thanks for the awesome deal DX.
