  • Great tool for VAG and Fiat/Alfa/Lancia

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Great little tool for diagnosing Vehicles from the VAG group (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda) manufactured up to year 2004 with the VAG COM 409.1 software and also Fiat, Alfa and Lancia vehicles manufactured up to 2010 (and newer) with the FiatEcuScan software. Price is a big pro, cheapest one I could find out there for a single purchase. Works great with all tested vehicles and reads all control units available in the vehicle and also reads live data, reads and clears fault codes and resets service indicators.

    Cons: Quality is a bit flakey. Software for diagnosing Fiat, Alfa and Lancia not included with the tool but can easily be downloaded from the internet. A bit tricky to install software and get it to recognize the tool.

    Other: Great tool and a must have for all mechanics and hobbyists. Will save you time and money and at this price better to have it then not. a definitive buy!!!!
