USB Charging + Data Cable for HTC S1 / S900 / Pro / Pro2 / TD2 / 3G / G2 (120CM-Length)

Pros: charges my htc faster than with a normal mini usb (with a normal usb it takes 3 hours and with this one it takes 2,5 hours) transfers data faster than with a normal usb can be used to control a pc via usb (higher quality images are transferred) high quality music can be played via this connector

Cons: cannot be used on other devises that use a normal mini usb because it has an htc connector non others that I can think of

Other: a definitively must have for every htc owner because of its superior data transfer speed and the possibility to charge a bit quicker

Pros: It works well, I can charge my phone with it and also data transfer rate is good. Works as it should.

Cons: It is a bit thinner than my original cable my HTC clone came with. Also, it has a special "HTC" shaped connector opposite to my "original" mini USB cable, which is standard-shaped, so this can be used only with HTC phones.

Other: I would by it again.

Pros: Works as it should Much cheaper than other generic cables on other well known websites

Cons: There are none. It does what I want it to do

Other: If you have a HTC phone and you just have the one cable then this is a must have.

Pros: The cable is cheap and comes i a reasonable length (~1.5m). The connectors are of good quality (no risk of breaking the cable here). Identical to the usb cable that came with my HTC Hero

Cons: None, to my recollection. Some people may desire a longer cable, but compared to the price the length is very reasonable in my opinion.

Other: Great product to a great price. It does what is expected from it, so what more can we want at this price!

Pros: Works same as original HTC mini USB cable.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other: This cable looks exactly like the original HTC cable that comes with most HTC phones. I compared it to the cable that came with my HTC Dream (G1) and it works the same but for a fraction of the price. I has the proprietary 11 pin (I think it was 11 wasn't it?) connector instead of the standard mini USB. This is a requirement for some of HTC's phones that use this cable. With that in mind, this cable will work perfectly for the mini USB HTC phones, but not for other mini USB phones. That is only a limitation of HTC's design, and not of DX.

Pros: Pros - What to say, this is just a USB cable.
Acceptable quality and works pretty good.

Cons: Cons - None I can think of.

Other: Go for it and for the price of a coffee (2.70) this is good and it can be used in various places and purposes. Basically it eliminates the need to carry cables. Just put the spare @ office and one @ home..

Pros: really cheap compared to the original HTC cable

Cons: My original HTC cable broke right behind the plugs but still workes - i thought the build quality of this one could not be worse but i was wrong... This one broke after one week of use... It is no shielded cable...

Other: I received not the cable on the picture (This would be more robust). It has the same poor plugs like the original one and breaks much faster. I would like to see a cable with bend protection behind the plugs ( like on the picture)

Pros: Works same as original HTC mini USB cable, comes at a cheaper price than local stores. The cable is stouter and very flexible - Good build quality of the wire)

Cons: It has no bend protection (unlike the one in the picture) behind the connectors, so prone to breaking similar to original ones.

Other: Good replacement for a cheap price, though it could have been sturdier.

Pros: Great price for a useful piece of gear. This cable is also not easy to find as the phone plug isn't common, kudos to DX for actually having one. The cable itself is also a bit more flexible than the genuine, which is useful if you have to go around any bends with it.

Cons: Slightly shorter (maybe 3-4 cm?) than the original genuine cable so don't expect to have you phone too far away. Also, despite the photos above there is no strain relief on the plug ends. If you're not careful when plugging an end in your fingers may slip and bend the cable sharply, risking an internal break.

Other: An essential accessory at just the right price.

Pros: - Works with the HTC Hero (G2 Touch) phone.
- I can charge and transfer data without problems.

Cons: - It´s not like in the pictures at the connections. There is NO bend protection right behind the connectors.
- The feeling is cheap and the build quality could be better.

Other: It´s a cheap cable that works for me anyway. So I would recommend this for anyone that needs a reserve cable for their phone.
