USB Data Cable for NDS Lite

Pros: Able to Charge your DS using USB port when you don't have a charger with you

Cons: Takes longer to Charge your DS with it plus the computer must be turn on while charging the DS

Other: If you are person who travel with a LapTop this is for you

Pros: -Easy to use -Ultra useful for traveling (bring only USB charger) -Works well with other USB portable power packs

Cons: None really. Just to be objective, I will say that the plastic is not of ultra high quality, but this is an extremly nit-picky point. It works perfectly, just doesn't feel ultra-high quality. But it's cheap ($$)!

Other: Very useful, cheap, and another great item offered by DealExtreme.

Pros: This is a nice little cable for when you are sitting at the computer and are in the middle of transferring files so you decide to fire up the DS but the DS has a red light so just plug in the cable to the computer then to the DS and voila you have charging power.

Cons: I have no cons for this cable other than the fact that I am not sure what the data portion of the cable is for?

Other: Awesome little cable, buy if you need charging power from you PC.

Pros: - Great price! Only $2! - Works the same as the normal NDS charger. - You can charge from either a computer's USB port, or use a USB travel socket. - Great for traveling as you could just bring this cable and use any USB travel socket (like for you ipod or PDAs) to charge. You don't need to lug the original charger. - Just plug into your computer and it starts charging immediately, no installations.
- Cable length about 1.2M, more than sufficient.
- Good build quality, sockets feels solid and not flimsy like other cheap cables.

Cons: Really nothing bad about this.

Other: Get it! Very cheap replacement, just a fraction of the original charger's price.

Pros: It charges your DS lite, trough USB ports, its long enough to see your DS if your computer only has back USB ports. Feels strong like a real USB wire, and wont like break inside the wire.

Cons: It's long, but not long enough, could of been longer, but there's USB extenders for that.Only in black.

Other: Buy it if your on the computer/Laptop a lot, travel, and if you lost your AC adapter!

Pros: -Feels sturdy and well made
-Cable length is just right, not too long, not too short
-If you combine it with a battery-powered USB charger such as sku.3205 or sku.12214, you can charge your DS using common AA batteries!

Cons: -Doesn't transfer "data" like the title says; only power
-The connectors aren't gold plated, but that's to be expected at this price!

Other: If you have a DS, get one or two of these, you won't be sorry.

Pros: -easy to use
-good for going overseas
-gives an extra option to charge your DS
-color black goes well with my black DS

Cons: there are no cons, buy it now, think no more.

Other: cheap, easy to use.
this is the black version, so buy it if you have a black DS. if you have a white DS, get the white cable. It's basically the same thing (the boxes they come in are the same --- i know since i bought both colors)
if you're still hesitating, GET IT NOW.

Pros: A good length of cable purpose built to allow for (data) charging from a powered USB port. It says 'Data Cable' but I'm not quite sure what data you'd want on a 'stock' DS.

Cons: The cable is a little thick, therefor it may take up more space then a retractable offering available on the site. At some time I may do some research to find out about the data capabilities of a port labeled 5.2V IN.

Other: For what it does it works great. It's a little large, but that just means that it'll hold up better over time right?

Pros: * The build quality is impressive, all plugs are very solid and looks like it's going to last for much time
* Wire it's long and thick, very resistant
* It's handy when you travel in other parts of the world where you can't find european 220V to charge your DS
* Very easy to use, it's plug and play
* Cheap compared to the USB chargers they sell around

Cons: * On the box it says "data cable for DS" but it's a charger
* Nothing more, it's an all pros item!

Other: I wanted a charger and I got what I wanted, being expert of DS I knew it was impossible to have a data cable by inserting it in the power plug. Great build quality, it's very solid and cheap, the build quality surprised me cause seeing the cheap price I expected less. If you need a good and cheap USB charger this is for you!

Pros: It works exactly as you would expect it to. Charge time is the same as if you were using a wall adapter. Build quality is good.

Cons: None. If you know what this is and you buy it, you will be satisfied.

Other: I now have one less adapter to carry around. Sure, this cable is negligible bigger then the Nintendo AC one, but its also a international standard. No need to worry about plug adapters for 1 more thing, should you travel outside of your continent.
