    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: It Works! This cable charges my iPad, syncs to iTunes. Looks close enough to the original.

    Cons: Definitely cheaper construction when compared to the Apple USB cable.

    Other: For under $2 you can't beat it. I was in need of a spare charging cable for iPad. One less thing to remember to bring to work.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Same dimensions and features as the original cable. Works very well, and of course, extremely cheap. Charging goes at the same speed as the original cable. Data transfer does as well (USB 2.0), allowing fast upload of videos and music.

    Cons: Looks a little more plastic-y than the original. Physical dimensions are exactly the same though.

    Other: Great buy, just get a few. Very cheap and extremely useful. Compatible with at least iPhone 4, iPhone 3 and iPod nano. However most probably compatible with all apple devices that feature this connector.
