    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Acceptable image quality for a 300KP image sensor and entry level lens. 2-in-1 combo -> The microphone is a separate device plugged into a normal 3.5mm MIC-IN/LINE-IN port of any (sound card equipped) computer. Can also be used with other devices, separately from the webcam. Plug&play in any modern OS -> Tested with Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04. Additional illumination provided by two strong LEDs with ON/OFF switch. Sturdy metal flexible neck.

    Cons: The suction cup doesn't work as expected in many surfaces but the base itself is wide enough to provide good stability. Audio quality from the microphone is barely acceptable. Built quality could be better although is very good considering the price.

    Other: A very good webcam + microphone combo for the price.
