    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Good design. Quality connectors. The ideal length for use with a netbook and mobile devices.

    Cons: Very thin wires for data cable. Poor noise shielding. I was buy it for my netbook, for connecting phone and small 1.8" mobile hdd. My phone is charging and transfer data with micro-usb connector. But hdd don't power on with mini-usb connector. I was try connect other devices, mp3 players, mobile phones - mini-usb is charger only.

    Other: Not recomended.

    Pros: Just what I wanted Short Double action USB plug ends is worth mentioning No amp limit Metal plug ends Insulated cord Uniform colour of black Seems to be holding up OK

    Cons: Maybe thin wires that might not last Not suitable for apple products (I make joke ha!) Packaging wastfull of resources

    Other: Worth purchasing if short cable is what you need
