USB Powered 2-LED Illumination Lamp

Pros: I bought these for my co-workers and they absoultely love them. We work in a room that is very dark and these provide just enough light for the keyboards or to just look at job tickets and such. They have a little on/off switch on the top. It looks like a little black and silver mouse. The flexible arm they are attached too is built very well and not flimsy at all.

Cons: None.

Pros: VERY bright illumination. Obviously it is not powerful enough to light up a whole room, but it is good for lighting up a section of your workstation, your keyboard, textbook, etc. Very solid , twistable body that you can twist around to an angle you desire. On/off button available on the top of the lamp in case you don't need it on. The button itself also feels very sturdy.

The top of the lamp looks like a computer mouse - very funny!

Cons: The light can get VERY bright - you need to be careful about adjusting the angle so that the light doesn't spill directly into your eye for too long

Other: If you need a key board light, it's perfect! I love mine and hopefully it will last for awhile, otherwise I will happily buy another one! It's also great if you have a paper to write or a project, just turn it away from your keyboard and illuminate a book, paperwork, etc. Perfect for low lighted libraries and study rooms. :)

Cons: * It easily can be accidentally get out from USB port.

Other: Good choice if you need a light to illuminate your keyboard in darkness. Can be used in travel as the lamp is quite small.

Pros: Flexible arm - this is useful it can be adjusted in any way you like; a requirement for awkward places..

Cons: Well, it can be a bit flimsy if the whole weight of the thing is just hanging off a USB port, otherwise, no problem.

Other: Get it and put inside your laptop bag. It is small enough and makes a whole lot of difference when the environment is dim.

Pros: It does what it is supposed to do. It illuminates the keyboard of your laptop in complete darkness and it is flexible enough to reach any angle or position. The on/off switch is also handy as you do not need to unplug the device from the usb socket if you want to turn it off.

Cons: I have seen a 3-led lamp cheaper than this one (2 leds only). I wouldn't recommend it for reading. Build quality is not great but acceptable.

Other: Compare price with the other models available.

Pros: The meta; staff seems to be of worthy quality. The usb connector works as it should. Amount of light is sufficient for short time use. It has a on and off clicky.

Cons: The build quality of the light head is not that great. It won't fall apart but I wouldn't expect it to survive a drop or anything. Only two plain LEDs, not that bright, shouldn't be a replacement for a real light.

Other: If you do not want to spend more than a few bucks on a laptop light then it should work for you.

Pros: Unlike the other models, it has on/off switch so you don't have to unplug it to switch it off. I use it as a night lamp on my desktop so this was the decisive pro (vs. the other USB lamps).
The lamp can be bent and holds the shape well, does not bend under own weight.
Looks OK.

Cons: It's can make your USB port looser, especially if you hit the lamp when it's plugged in. I glued some crappy USB extension cable at bottom of my keyboard specially for this lamp. If you need a lamp for normal USB port it may be wiser to get one which has its own stand and connected to a port via a cable.
Otherwise it's good in what it is and for the price.

Other: For the price you can make a mistake, but be careful about your USB port.

Pros: The price is the main positive point. It is very cheap!
It have the on/off button, so you don't need to take off from the USB to switch off.

Cons: I don't know if is only with me, but the lights are not so good, are not so strong, could be better.
The build quality isn't the best, maybe they can improve a bit.
The USB connector is a bit loose when connected, it is easy to fall out.

Other: In my opinion could be better.
Maybe I will buy another model to compare with this one. I think that other models are better.

Pros: * It has ON/OFF button. It's very usefull. You don't need to plug it out if you don't want to use, just turn off from the button.
* Good build quality.
* Light quality is strong enough to make the keyboard visible.
* Never gets hot. I use it for hours and its always cool.
* It's price is cheap.
* Very flexible. Can be used in any shape and position.

Cons: * USB connector could be better.

Other: You can buy it without thinking.
