USB Rechargeable Flash Drive Voice Recorder (4GB)

Pros: not being told it was a recording device you'd never know. .wav format is lossless so any lacking of the microphone is lessened by not losing more with the audio codec easy enough to use comes charged price is awesome the same product elsewhere was upwards of $56 us dollars. speech is recognizable from across the room

Cons: a little troublesome to get working initally there were some files in the device from the beginning it wouldn't work so, I deleted them and then it worked that's my only real problem with this.

Other: if you think you could use it, buy it.

Pros: The key arrived pre-charged and exactly as shown in the product pictures. Even the packaging only states that it's a USB key so unless you opened it and found the tiny recording instructional paper, you'd never know. Couldn't be more simple to use. Simply slide the switch toward the front, the light blinks 3 times then sits dark. You would never know it's recording at all. Heck, you'd never know it was anything but a usb key. The files couldn't be easier to access, simply plug it into your pc's usb port and look in the "RECORD" folder. It's not possible for it to be any easier.

Cons: Even the instructions that it comes with states that it can record up to 5hrs on a single full charge, as you'll see below the most I was able to get was 2hrs 23min from a 12.5hr charge.

Other: Original charge it arrived with = 1hr:53min recording, 25.7 MB Started recharge @ 5pm Finished Charge @ 11pm (Charge Time: 6hrs) New Charge = 2hrs:13min recording, 30.4 MB (.23 MB/Min) Began 2nd recharge @10:30am Finished 2nd recharge @ 11pm (Charge Time: 12.5hrs) 2nd recharge = 2hrs:23min recording, 32.6MB Also works fantastic as just a regular 4GB memory stick.

Pros: Simply great. Looks 100% like a normal usb flash drive, even the package does not mention the voice recording function.
Once opened, you find a small instruction booklet well hidden inside the package about the recording option.
The wav files seem to be reasonably small in size and sound clear.
Mic sensitivity is fine at close and medium range.

Cons: Can't find any at the moment... it does its job pretty well. Maybe the max recording duration won't fully reach the stated time, but I think it should last for at least 2-2.5 hours without problems... that should suffice

Other: Bought two and happy with them, will recommend to some friends for sure.

Pros: Very easy to use, just plug into USB port and charge for a few hrs. I charged mine for 5 hrs - I just plugged it into my computer at work and it charged properly.
To use it just turn it on, I got 4 hrs and 28 minutes of recording time before the battery die, not bad

Cons: It has a low level tapping sound for the entire lenght of the recording but you could still here anything it recorded clearly as long as it's not to far away. It's not voice activated, as soon as you turn it on it records.

Other: I bought 2 of them for this price. I will open it up and see if I could add or mod the battery, maybe make it last longer
